On average, I think most girls look better without them. But it works on some. Just like short hair - most girls look better with long hair.

Hot chicks can pretty much do whatever they want(bangs, tattoos, etc..) and they are still hot. This really comes down to the 6s and 7s we encounter in everyday life. If they have a decent body, ok face, and then get bangs, she may drop from a 7 to a 6.
