  • It's nice to have former players on board with the current staff. I'm sure a lot of his teammates from the pre-MD era feel the same way.

  • Maybe a cry face because, if coach D was with that group, we could be at the top level right now instead of in a couple years after we snag a rose bowl victory or BCS bowl victory...?

    ***This is not me saying i dont think we are the best team in the BIG or at the level of O$U, scUM, because i feel that we are better then them, but the nation doesnt***

    I live in Austin, and its funny to hear ppl with no ties to the BIG talk about how this is scUM's year to win it all... it makes me sick to hear this.. and i cant argue cause they dont care...

    No doubt. And I do suppose that MD became MD because of his experiences elsewhere, and that includes 2002-06.

    I just feel bad that players like Clifton got stuck with the coaches they had. They represented MSU well, even when things were dark. I wish the coaching they had was up to par rather than an embarrassment, that's all.

  • You're forgetting that the only reason Coach D has been allowed to have any success at all is because Martin hired Rich Rod. Otherwise MSU would currently be looking for our 5th coach since 1999.

    Austin is the worst part of Texas...people in Houston and Dallas and even in the west side of the state all know that MSU is the team to beat.

    Shoot, even people here in San Diego and the idiots up in LA and the Bay Area know that MSU is running away the division crown again.

    I dont know if you understood my post... i was just saying, i think the original poster's sad face was him saying to him self "what if coach D was here then, clifton has a good point" --- trust me I am very happy with our Program.. always have been during the Dantonio Regime.
