Comparing Novak to Draymond? Really?

  • ...

In an era in which star players often spend just a year or two on campus before heading to the N.B.A., Novak and Green are rarities. Both have seen their roles increase each year, as they have grown from doughy freshmen fighting for minutes to chiseled seniors who have, at times, seemingly willed their teams into championship contention.

They will enter the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament, Thursday through Sunday in Indianapolis, having played 270 combined college games (139 for Green and 131 for Novak). Despite all that playing time, neither had scored 1,000 career points entering this season. But along the way, each has developed a talent for doing the little things statistics do not record and freshmen cannot provide, regardless of talent.

    Thats a legit comparison.

Both guys love their schools, both guys have gotten a lot better, and both guys are good leaders within their respective spheres of influence.

Good try on the trolling attempt though.

  • I've been saying it for a while, losing Novak is going to kill that team next year. He is the heart and soul of UM and they will struggle to find an identity when he's gone. I see a .500 B1G season for them.

Do you post about anything else, or is it just non-stop wolverine related trolling?

How do MSU/scUM BB talent compare next year?

With whos coming and leaving, how does it stack up?

and Douglas. With the co-title, do they get a poster in the new practice facility???

It will be interesting to see Burke as well as Zeller have another level to their game

And one is a first team All=American, while the other is honorable mention (by media only) all-conference.

The comparison is a stretch to say the least.

To be fair I didn't click the link but based on the metrics in the post I don't think it's that crazy.

In the actual article I'm sure it goes on the deep end but since the guy is a clearly a troll I wasn't going to waste my time.
