Denzel's father should have told him no matter what the vote was to say/tweet nothing if he couldn't be classy.
Another case of instantaneous thought goes out for the entire world to see and now it festers. Causes a problem where there shouldn't be one and now all the speculation of possible problems.
Valentine has practiced and played his ass off all year just like Costello did plus he's got one state championship under his belt, playing in a semi-final against DCD this Friday (Should be a great game).
Now the best anyone can hope for is an apology and even if one comes there will be some who will never believe Valentine no matter how sincere.
As fan I'm glad they both have signed their LOI's and given his father's history with MSU, I'm hopeful Denzel will get over it with his father's help.

so a 17 yr old kid said something stupid on the internet..color me surprised. For me personally...your future teammate won the award for him and be happy. I'm sure if you win an award in college he will be the first one to say congrats even if he thought he would have won it.
Not to mention I think most coaches who voted had their reasons and I'll bet the farm it had to do with what you played with on your team.

No shit. I saw him plenty and he was no picnic through a good part of his time at MSU as well.
Twitter is a great invention for information. It's truly a disaster waiting to happen for feelings or opinions. Multiply that by 100 for a teenager.
