Chick pictured for #12...hot or not?
Thanks for the additional background information on the case. I also tend to believe that they left of their own free will and were probably running from something.
I've read online that Jospeh's brother (who is interviewed in the "Disappeared" episode) got into some financial legal trouble in Texas. Don't know if it is connected.
They could have driven to Mexico in about an hour from their house, so I'm not sure why they waited 4 days to cross the border.
Regarding leaving the dogs- they knew that that one guy was going to be coming by in a few days to paint the house, so they may have figured the dogs would be fine until then.
Some elements of the case seem to suggest they may have been a victims of a carjacking or perhaps they accidentally struck a pedestrian with their vehicle, hid for a few days and then fled to Mexico; but the computer searches from their house regarding documentation needed to go to Mexico shed doubt on that theory.

Actually it was Joseph's father Patrick McStay who has had legal difficulties and some speculate the activities extended into Joseph and Summer's lives but nothing has ever been proven.
The "four days" is what puzzles a lot of people. Their Isuzu Trooper was found in the partking lot near the border outside of a strip mall on February 8th and towed. The security people there say that cars are towed on a daily basis if they are not picked up by closing time and that their vehicle was not in the lot before the 8th. The evening of the 8th is also when the border video was recorded.
As far as the dogs go, yes I agree they figured someone would come along and feed them before long. There was also an opened large bag of dog food found in the pen as well.
The police impounded the Trooper and did prints inside and out and found no one but the McStay's prints. The two car seats were in the back seat and still intact.
It looks as though they did voluntarily leave in a hurry, caused by what we may never know but what has happened to them since is the mystery. They may have met up with people they thought they could trust and things went very wrong for them. It's a long time for no one (allegedly) to have heard from them.
Looks like a psychic has gotten involved in the Paige Marie Renkoski disappearance and posted their theory on the web.
How did Denard get his license suspended? Figured that question belonged here...
Got pulled over for expired license plates and failing to turn with a signal. Plead not guilty in court on Nov. 21. Next court date scheduled for Dec. 14. Didn't show up, bench warrant issued for his arrest. Showed up yesterday, warrant was cancelled but he had to pay fines and had his license suspended.
Coaches who can outline plays on a black board are a dime a dozen. The ones who win get inside their player and motivate.
Ahhh driving with expired tags is "driving with a revoked or suspended license"? That makes sense. I have never had that issue so I didn't realize that.
Bump for the Green Children of Woolpit being Wiki's article o' the day.
From what I've read, seems like they were the children of Flemish immigrants who were killed. They were in the forests for who knows how long, and were malnourished, hence the greenish skin. Perhaps they lived in a cave, hence the "land with no sun."
Location: Mumbai, India
Just read this article on some interesting mysteries. Some of the one's listed I know are in other links within this thread, but a few I had never heard of. Pretty interesting stuff:
9 years since Maura Murray disappeared. Short vid of her father on Montel:
Fred Murray on the Montel Williams show, 2004.
Looks like the psychic updated the blog post with a map. I'm not very familiar with Fowlerville.
Another missing persons case that I am fascinated by - Neo Babson Maximus (Charlie Allen Jr.) Today is his 28th birthday.
You can watch the "Disappeared" episode on Netflix. I think it's listed under season 4 "Game Over" (terrible name).
Lots of interesting background information about Charlie's life. He was passionate about tennis. His extremely beautiful sister provides a lot of details regarding the moments leading up to his disappearance. He seemed to enter into a manic state and some of the things he said were pretty cryptic.
He was scared and was talking of heading to Texas or Florida. Perhaps one of you Spartan fans down south have seen him on the tennis courts... or sat next to him in a restaurant.
There is some additional information that we could discuss that did not appear in the episode. I have my own theory about the case, but I would like to hear any other opinions that people may have.
Neo Babson Maximus missing

Just some quick things about Charlie Allen Jr.:
-was the #1 Half-Life player in the world
- legally changed his name to Neo Babson Maximus a few weeks prior to his disappearance
-was probably sleeping in his car
-received treatment for bipolar disorder, but stopped taking his medication
-believed that people were after him
-told his sister that the answers to everything are in the periodic table of elements
-broke into a lady's house by climbing through an open 2nd floor window at 3am. When she confronted him; he said he was looking for his friend (Mason), jumped off the roof and ran into the woods.
I think the most plausible scenario is that he succumbed to the elements and died of exposure; and that his body is somewhere outside of the search radius. He was a young guy, in good shape and in a manic state. He could have easily covered 15 to 20 miles. He was becoming more paranoid and this probably caused him to avoid areas of civilization and prevented him from getting help from anyone.
Anyone else heard anything about this case?
What defines #1 half-life player in the world?
Beating the #2
You know what they say. Being 2nd place @ Half Life is the same thing as being the 1st place Loser @ Half Life. Boom.
quick question. what's Half Life?
A Video game from the late 90s where a scientist has to try to save the world from the freaks of a different dimension. Basically, think trying to escape Manchester Michigan.
I didn't know people played half life, I thought they just bought it so they could play counter strike or day of defeat
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
weird case of a missing person who has reappeared over a decade later.
From Yahoo! News: LITITZ, Pa. (AP) — A central Pennsylvania woman who mysteriously disappeared after dropping off her children for school 11 years ago has surfaced in Florida and has told police she traveled there on a whim with homeless hitchhikers, slept under bridges and survived by scavenging food and panhandling, authorities said Wednesday.

That is just flat out bizarre. Talk about batshit crazy.
Meth is a helluva drug
This website has been intriguing. I really can't say where I stand on it and how much stock I put into it, but here is what the psychic said about one of the girls recently found in Cleveland, some of it could easily be a coincidence but it sounds like she knew the family who took her and as she was found with 2 other women, the "betrayal" and "number 3" are interesting. Also the by water (Cleveland) and not far from where she went missing....
