Looking back through the old classes to see who was ranked what and I revisited last year's rankings. I was shocked (pleasantly) to discover that several MSU prospects got post-signing day bumps and that MSU's 2012 recruiting class was ranked 31st on the Composite and 4th in the conference.
Fennell was most certainly a 2-star on signing day on 247 alone, as was Ezra Robinson. Pretty sure Kieler had an "80" rating too and the TEs were at 85 and 86. Not too bad, especially since MSU was mocked for having around the 40th best class on NSD last year.
Just thought I'd pass on that recruiting probably isn't as bad as some are thinking . . .
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Wasn't Kings also bumped from an 84 to an 85? I definitely thought he was an 84 for a while. I appreciate that 247 now lists in the player's timeline when they update rankings so those of us who follow it too closely don't have to try and remember these things
I think it's more important to look at our ranking overall in the B1G as opposed to National. 4th in the conference is excellent considering we're pretty much never going to beat the classes of OSU and scUM. If we can be in the mix each year with Nebraska and PSU, that's a big deal.
Any word on whether our 2012 win-loss record has been improved?
Unfortunately, the Big 10 assigned the refs from the IU-MSU bball game Sunday to investigate. . .
The win/loss record was brought up why not fire Roushar!
Updated 2012 class rankings from the year 2017 will matter the most to me.
still +1, though.
