Senior run player draft, competitive teams live except for kick returns, real score being kept. Winners eat steak, served to them by the losers...who then eat hotdogs and baked beans. Most awesome format in the history of MSU spring games. rocks.
Plus Mark Dantonio show that he actually does have personality and is kind of a funny dude. He makes it fun, and an exhibition for the fans...which it is. I wouldn't take anything "scouting" from it. They do that work in the closed scrimmages.
Yep. Dry sense of humor but funny as hell in that thinking mans way. Also, don't forget the Spartan garage sale. Get there early for the coolest stuff.
Paging AA Spartan. 10 days from now will you be there with the tent and stuff? Plans need to be made. Supplies need to be purchased. The appropriate amount of hookers and blow need to be acquired. We need a list and a roll call. Tailgates are a dicey affair and planning is critical to success. That's what says anyway.

What garage sale?
I have not heard that they're doing the garage sale this year.
A few years back they started opening the store under the stadium and often had what appeared to be genuine sports apparel and footwear that was surplus and/or being recently phased out. You could score some awesome jerseys, warmups, cleats for your kid who played high school sports, etc etc. I scored an awesome soccer jersey a few years back and bought my kid some football cleats. Some years were better than others, but the authentic stuff goes fast if they have it. They are also selling the regular Spartan garb and trinkets that they sell at football games....although at discount prices. Probably last years stuff they are moving to make room for this years stuff.
I would love a soccer jersey. Any news on if it is going on this year? Also what time did you have to get there at?
I've heard of this in the past, but from my understanding, they haven't had one of these garage sales in 3-4 years. Hopefully I'm wrong though. Can anybody confirm?
They don't seem to publicize it. The game starts at 2:30 this year so I would guess maybe 10 or 11am? Maybe 9am? I have looked in years past and can never find any information online about the sale. I just show up and they are open.
We already missed one Spartan annual equipment sale!!! It was on March 23rd!!!! Oh ....false alarm. Wrong Spartans.
"THE ANNUAL SPARTAN EQUIPMENT SALE
Prior to the Spring Game, the athletics department’s annual Equipment Sale takes place above the north endzone ramp. Game-worn uniforms, jerseys, shirts, shorts, shooting shirts, golf bags and more are available for purchase. The sale starts at 4:00 p.m. and concludes at 8:00 p.m."
Coach Ron Caragher talks about the upcoming Spring Game and defensive backs Sean Linton and Simon Connette offer their views on spring practice.
Seriously. Is my friend AA Spartan still alive? The tailgate is a week from tomorrow and we have no confirmation or duties/supplies list. Is this going to be the year it doesn't happen? It would be a sad day in RCMB and for that matter MSU history if we don't eat and cocktail at the Spring Game. I mean...how will this affect the team? We all know the places where games are won. Spring Game tailgates are at the top of the list, right?
early weather has a.m. flurries & high 47
A BEAUTIFUL day for foooootball!!!!
They sell a lot of that stuff at the surplus store now.

Go check out the MSU surplus store first. I went there a year or so ago and got a really nice game used soccer jersey. They also had baseball uniforms and basketball warm ups. Maybe someone that has been there more recently can confirm... But they had a ton of stuff for sale from the athletic dept.
Yep. Online they are advertising game worn jerseys of several types. Football jerseys from 2007-2010, white ones...only $165
Michigan State University Authentic Football Game Jersey 2007-2010 White

It's a Rod approved thread, so you best post there.
I like this thread better. It was first.
Besides...AA is ignoring the pinned thread. Maybe he will respond to this one, Maybe if we start a third thread it will really get his attention. Okay, I'll do it.
