A Notre Dame alumnus has made a donation to reduce National Championship game tickets from $300 to $150 for Irish students.
The guys @LepLegion say there are 2,500 ND student tickets to National Championship, meaning alumnus made $375K donation for student subsidy
As much as I dislike ND and its fans, that's pretty awesome.

The ticket price will pale in comparison to the hotel/airfare. Plus, if you can afford ND tuition..........
ND is not a school I think of when "students too poor to buy tickets" is being discussed.
Fuck ND. I can't imagine how miserable it is to go to school there.
How many of these end up in the secondary market? All this guy did is give hundreds of students a larger profit margin.

At $50K per year a wealthy family can burn thru a lots of money sending a child to ND.
There are MSU students who were offered 50% scholarships at ND and still couldn't afford it.
If you are a scholarship athlete or can get accepted with great test scores an ND degree opens a lot of doors.
what an absolute prick.
A man's gotta eat!
Now that's cool. Good for him.
The moment is eternal
Makes sense. Their athletes get paid to play and the students get paid to go watch.
I read the news today, oh boy .. ..
About a lucky man who made the grade
It doesn't cost $50k per year to attend Notre Dame. And what exactly is the definition of "wealthy" that you're using? So a family with maybe $150,000 in income and saves money is now considered "wealthy"?
Barely anybody can "afford" private school tuition. Most ND students are just willing to go deep into debt.
As far as the thread topic, I really wish this wasn't an ND story, because it's pretty cool.
You're right. It's probably closer to $55-60k.
gonna keep sticking with foods? ran out of random names to use?
