Why are you bringing intent into this? Isn't it the guns / trains themselves that are doing the damage?
Riders need to be background checked and register with the government.
An immediate violence tax on ridership is necessary to pay for the carnage of mass transportation.
People should not have access to these tools of mass transportation. The founding fathers never envisioned these high capacity killing machines.
Question authority. Power to the people
Jesus Christ you're an idiot.
How much longer until you change your username again?
Simple solution, don't stand so close to the tracks waiting for the train.
When I do travel and ride a subway, I hang back, the doors remain open long enough for you to walk 20 feet to board.
The fact that this thread has gone 2.5 pages without a single mention of "Wells" is quite impressive/confusing
If posters like Green Note are infesting a thread it can only mean one thing. Mods were asleep at the wheel and the thread should have been banished to Wells hours ago.
Or we could just eliminate the possibility of people being pushed/jumping on to the tracks to begin with like other countries have.
Guinness makes you drop mud.
One of the main reasons that I stay back and far away from the subway rails on the platform and watch my surroundings at all times..
The attached link is quite terrifying, it's the last moments from the first guy to die by subway. Of course the NY Post has no limits.

Brilliant! So much win!
Terrifying! And why do they feel the need to put that on the front page. I can't imagine being his family.
It must have been the stillettos.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested on Saturday and charged with second-degree murder as a hate crime in connection with the death of a man who was pushed onto the tracks of an elevated subway station in Queens and crushed by an oncoming train.
The woman, Erika Menendez, selected her victim because she believed him to be a Muslim or a Hindu, Richard A. Brown, the Queens district attorney, said.
In a statement released by the district attorney’s office, Mr. Brown quoted Ms. Menendez, “in sum and substance,” as having told the police: “I pushed a Muslim off the train tracks because I hate Hindus and Muslims ever since 2001 when they put down the twin towers I’ve been beating them up.” Ms. Menendez conflated the Muslim and Hindu faiths in her comments to the police and in her target for attack, officials said.
holy balls...the crazy in this country is strong right now
Wow people suck. I was in NY over Thanksgiving and was using the subway and thought how dangerous it was to stand anywhere near the edge. I always kind of stood sideways cause I didn't want some crazy ass to push me and then all this shit started happening. I must have espn or something.
sad fucking society we live in when you have to think that way but....you damn well have to. LOVE the guy earlier in the thread that said "NO ONE CARES" about this topic and thread: brutal attitude.
