Tried a disposable $10 "Blu Cig" today after having snus'ed and occasionally smoked for 3-4 years. Very impressed, apparently it is comparable to over a pack of cigarettes. No more stained teeth, tar, or smoke smell. I plan to buy the rechargeable starter kit soon; I'm completely sold on these things. I would say the taste is most comparable to smoking a hookah, very pleasant and mild.
Welcome to the future, fellow nerds.
Get the BluPremium100 if you take the plunge..they last longer and have bigger cartridges and batteries. I bought the original starter set, but constantly have to be "aware" of power and supply status, but then that is because it's so focking enjoyable I never want to be without
There are some pretty intense kits out there that are much more well recieved by true vapers..they are all bigger and longer but you can also buy your own juice and fill 'em yourself. i might just jump to that next..
There is romance in all of us
Did you get yours through their website or did you find a store that sells them? I've only seen them at meijer and I didn't see the premium one
I prefer the Volcano myself
so mattyfresh and so clean
I got one at a C store..but I'd go online if I were you. Cheaper and you get "credits" that actually do add up to a hill of beans.
Definitely a good price to start out..but as others say, there are a lot of them that pack a bigger punch out there. I'm probably gonna try the kit from the actual juice Manufacturer (Johnson Creek) soon.
I don't think anybody is worried about ODing, just the imminent cancer from cooking antifreeze into their lungs.
I just got a Volcano Lavatube V2 (see pic) and I remembered this thread. Some history and some thoughts.
I was about a 1/2 pack smoker a day (less on work days because I never smoked at work). I quit a while ago, but I still missed smoking at times along with the occasional cravings which never really go away they, just become less frequent and easier to overcome. I decided to try the ecigs that are sold locally (Blu, Fin, etc). They were ok and somewhat enjoyable, but I started to look into it more. I then moved to online stuff that was similar but was better quality. It was nice, but then I decided to try more advanced vaping with buying eliquids online and filling my own cartomizers. So much better. Tons of awesome flavors, much better vapor, better batter life, etc. It is a really enjoyable experience especially once you start dialing in your own preferences. It can be a little overwhelming at first choosing the right device, the right cartomizers, the right juice (not only flavor but nicotine level, percentage PG to VG, and the boatload of vendors), etc. Yet for people looking to quit smoking this is by far the best. I prefer it to smoking, and that is something I could never say about the gums, lozenges, and patches. On top of that, it is a ton cheaper. The up front cost for high end equipment like the lavatube and really high end stuff like Provari or Darwin can cost $150 to $300. Yet after that cartomizers and eliquid will only cost in the range of 50 cents to $1 a day (depends on what you get and where you get your eliquid). You can also get things like the eGos that are cheaper and smaller, but are not as good for battery life and certainly less features like variable voltage.
I will add I follow all smoking laws, and honestly that is for the best. Many of the eliquids I use have a very strong scent to them, and the vapor is very thick. If I smoke indoors I can smell it for quite a while, and even though most smell good I don't think everyone would want be around it.
The only negative is I never get the nicotine high like I can with cigarettes. Nicotine in vapor simply does not get into the bloodstream as quickly. I have tried high level nicotine in some of my eliquids and the throat hit gets so harsh it's not really worth it. Yet overall it's a very enjoyable experience. Still probably not the healthiest thing, but I am willing to bet it's way healthier than cigarettes and the crap that gets put into them.
Sorry all you addicts, but Nicotine is one of the worst things you can put in your body and thinks it safe.

The LavaTube looks like something for butthole pleasures.
that's just a side benefit.
Just try to remember which end you use for each activity.
Yup. Using a ZMax 2 from MadVapes.
And for the record:
Propylene Glycol = Antifreeze... yeah, the kind people use for animal safety. Get it?
Chemicals! Go drink some dihydrogen monoxide and die
Nicotine! Likely better to abstain, but it is far from the worst component of cigarette smoke (obviously addictive as hell)

I was going to make a joke about a big e-cigar or something. But then I looked it up and they actually make those...
This is pretty much the one that I had. I spent an assload of money on the buy-in and then completely quit everything including the e-cig in about 6 months
Joye Technology is the premuim electronic cigarette including Joye eGo,Joye eGo-T,Joye 510,Joye 510-T,Tank System,Joye eGo-c,eGo changeable,changeable System,Joye eRoll, Joye eVic, Joye e-liquid
And they are awesome, but I do not use it at work.
Made a move on the vaping front today. I ordered some Johnson & Creek 'Smoke Juice' to refill my cartomizers because I had been blasting through them at $15/5-pack. $10 got me 15 mL of Smoke Juice, which I can tell from sampling should last me awhile. Seems like higher nicotine content and less flavor and smoke (no PG in this blend). This definitely drops the cost to FAR less than cigarettes and snus. Makes me feel like a druggie, but it is so much healthier than smoking.
I hope to quit altogether soon, but for now this is top notch.
Anyone ever flown with these, specifically out of the country (and thus, requiring to go through customs)? Do you have to declare this?
Are there any worries about it being confiscated?
