Yes, he is. Outside of Steve Perry, Arnel can keep the band going. Before he left the group, Steve's first replacement, Steve Augeri, was good as well.
im just bustin some ballz. i can't believe they are so popular.
No but we stopped at Gippers for a couple beers after dinner and there was a band there, they were mullettastic!
He is really good. Saw them at the Concord Pavilllion in CA 4 years ago and this is by far the best Journey since SP left. I believe this is version 4 since he left.
I saw Journey years ago when they were in between Steve Perry and the current singer. I enjoyed myself. It's just silly fun, people like to rip on Journey now but you actually go to the show and it's impossible not to have fun and get into it. The middle-aged bad dancing was spectacular.
As long as Neal Schon is still there, Journey will continue to be good.

Steve Perry is not gay. Dude banged more sluts in the 80's then you can count.

And he married Sherri
Not anymore. They hired a Steve Perry sound-a-like from one of the premier Journey cover bands, though.
Unfortunately, Steve Perry just can't sing anymore.
I saw them in Sacramento in the summer of '09 and I had no idea prior to the show who their singer was or his story. I was blown away when I heard his voice. Closing my eyes, it sounded like Steve Perry was on stage.
Journey may be the first band who can tour as a Journey cover band in the off season.
Can't you hear with your eyes open?
