Yes. Great Spartan, hope he earns his way back to the field and if not, hopefully gets a look at from some NFL teams and a degree. He deserves loud applause and a full stadium on senior day.
Don't be a dick, Bob.
I hope he sees that. That's fucking hilarious.
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
love it: that's my new screensaver. Co-worker went by a little while ago and said: WTF?
What's the point of your post? Seriously. I know you like to be a douche in all the SCu-m threads, but why this one?
If you have never heard of Chris Norman you are basically a basement troll. Hell, my 7 year old nephew even knows who Chris Norman is.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Where did you get that Spartan Statue replica? That is awesome!
Don't post poop!
I do. He has been a pretty solid player and he even started his senior year. Wishing the best for him (whatever that means, whether it's this season or beyond college football).
I believe Chris has battled injuries. Nothing huge and has played through them. Has been and is a great Spartan. Hope he gets a shot in the league next year...and taiwan is a beast.
Norman has and does contribute.

Regarding the Norman/Jones dynamic in the update, can't stress how well Norman seems to have handled the whole situation. Obviously wants to play more but has been very genuine in his support of Jones throughout the past several weeks. Extremely impressed with his approach considering he's a three-year starter and captain. Now that' he's healthier I think we'll see more of Norman Saturday where he can be a big asset against Nebraska's rushing attack.
"I try to give (Jones) a few pointers and he's listening so, who knows. Maybe I can have a coaching future," Norman said. "He's been doing a really good job and I let him know that. I'm proud of him."
More than Bell?!
Caper is half the back that Bell is and we should the ball to Bell more.
The pussification of society continues......
His first name is actually Christian and he is African-American.
Christian has had two very serious injuries, the first being a shoulder injury (muscle torn 75%) which happened the 3rd game of his sophmore year. He played on it the remainder of that year, with the intention being to repair it at the end of that season. However, his elbow was broken and the muscles attached to it torn in the Capital One Bowl the end of that same season. Surgery to repair the elbow and those muscles took precedence over the torn rotator cuff at that time. His junior year he continued to play with the torn shoulder muscle, playing several games when he couldn't even feel his right arm at all, let alone use it. Yet he had a respectable season, finishing fourth on the team with 76 tackles and playing very well in the Outback Bowl by which time he had no feeling in or use of his right arm. Even this year, he has had some very good games, most notably the Ohio State Game....
I know I am biased, but I hate to read all this stuff about him not contributing and being a mediocre player, when I know the work he has put in despite the injuries and the contributions he has made. Thank you, northandwells, for acknowledging that.

Chris Norman is a freaking warrior. Dude has battled so many injuries and given 110% throughout his career. On top of that, he is one of the most level headed and awesome people on the team.
I do feel bad that he's gotten somewhat usurped by Taiwan Jones. I was hoping it would help Norman in the long run because he doesn't have to take so much abuse physically.
I sincerely hope he gets a shot in the NFL. Definition of a Spartan.
The best thing you can do is leave this place and never come back. I mean that with all due respect. There is no need to defend your son. Injured or not, he has always played with heart and stayed out of trouble. That's all anyone can ask. Don't pay the lunatic fringe bad mouthing Chris any mind. Certainly don't post again, at least not until his playing days are over.
Some think these players aren't human and don't have parents!
Ma'am, thanks for stopping by this board. By no means do you have to defend your son. He is a great player and we are very happy to have him as part of our MSU family. Unfortunately, our board has a lot of jerks who are quick to criticize others. Please ignore these posts. We hope to see you on the field for Senior Day. Thanks again. Go Green!
