Warning: this is a bit depressing, but read it so that:
1. You know what you're getting into, don't think a shelter is some safety valve if you get sick of the thing.
2. Consider adopting (although my family has one adoptee and one raised up since he was a puppy, so I understand the appeal of getting a dog from a breeder)

Good post, Im gonna throw that up on my facebook. Like ive said we have family dogs and my aunt is a vet we have a good mix of bred and rescued dogs. Our dog when we were little was a terrier that looked like yoda, found him with rubber bands around his neck slowly killing him. The things people to do animals is just disgusting sometimes. Kinda tough if I end up getting a yorkie though, Ive called on a few around for adoption in livonia and they all either are really old or have all kinds of special needs.

This is a Google pic of the dog..... Ours are below.
If I remember right, "molly" is about 1 1/2 - 2 years old in these pics.
