Sucks. Hopefully its not serious
Appling shrugged when asked of the injury, which caused him to have a slight limp after the failed alley-oop attempt midway through the first half.
Get him some ice. We survive Saturday and it shouldn't be an issue by next week.
Appling said "It's nothing major".
I'm not worried.
Keith will be fine with a bag of ice and some good rest.
Tough love is in effect here|We won't accept you as you are|Instead, we will show you a vision of what you could be and help you achieve it
Keith was limping pretty badly at the end of the first half, but he seemed to be pretty good after the break. If it was anything to be seriously concerned about, I doubt Izzo would have left him in.
Welcome to Charlie Bell's entire Senior year.
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
Hopefully we blow out Memphis and he is able to spend the last 10 minutes on the bench with an ice bag on his knee.
I was hoping that was just my imagination.
Same here, thought maybe that was his new strut
It won't be a blowout

"I think the world is run by C students"
It happened when he was going up for that dumb-ass blown alley-oop in traffic.
Why is this being considered "re-aggrivated" tendinitis? When did he previously have knee problems this year?
Not too worried. It's the cortisone injection time of year. All offseason to get better.
I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
Tendonitis hurts, but a little ice goes a long way with that.
He's been dealing with it sporadically for the second half of the season. It's popped up off and on throughout his time at MSU. It's why he wears the compression knee wraps.
Appling is going to be needed to help contain Joe Jackson. The dude can ball along with #10 Tarik Black. Memphis is athletic but not as deep as MSU. I see a close game but MSU will prevail in the end. Luckily I stuck around to see Saint Mary's almost pull an unbelievable upset.
Keith Appling Ain't A Bitch.
Reading that article, I do recall how easy Valpo was getting to the rim on layups in the 2nd half ala OSU & Aaron Craft. I hope his defense doesn't suffer because of the tendinitis.
Ouch. Hope you are right. Hope he feels better. No doubt he is in good hands.
I figured you'd be hoping for a blowout, 2008-style. That game must have brought you great joy.
You can do things with tendinitis it's just slow to get going is all. Once you get warmed up its not too bad.
This country was built by people who worked hard then went home and had just a few too many every night. Then went back to work.
the man is from detroit and he is a spartan. that knee will have to snap for him to let up. plus i have faith in the msu training staff to take good care of him
Knee injuries can do a lot of damage to a team - see Alan Anderson in 2005.
This may explain him getting taken off the dribble again today as he has been lately. I don't like to see the Keith "hey wait for me" reach as his opponent goes by him. Hope coach figures out some ways to counteract this.
Ibuprofen and ice.
Thank you, Denicos.
Get used to seeing a lot of this Saturday.
