Illinois has gotten absolutely pooped on by any decent team they've played and Purdue had a shootout with Marshall and was out-gained by Wisky 645-252.
I know transitive property is shit and all that, but I'm not as sure that this team is as good as you pusses think.
Uhh have you seen us play yet this year? Pretty sure we're in the bottom 2 or 3 in the BT. Iowa is absolutely terrible and we lost to them. And we just got by with a win against EMU. Do you realize how bad EMU is? We won't win games if we can't score points. Period. And our offense is not getting any better.
Never said we were good, just saying UM isn't either.
The whole BT sucks this year. Wisconsin hasn't beat anyone, OSU barely beat IU with a field goal, Illinois won't win a BT game, and SCum is always overrated. I think we MIGHT see some trick plays come out Saturday since this game is basically a nothing to lose type situation...but who knows. We don't have the QB to make plays, and there has been no sign of any new play calling for a long time. If the offense finally decides to show some stuff out of nowhere we can win. Nothing about SCum impresses me either...it's just a matter of how bad our offense is. With that said, I hope we kick their ass.
Illinois is clearly the worst team in the B1G.
Purdue played Eastern and Notre Dame much better than MSU did, so don't even talk about Purdue being in the bottom 2. Minnesota and MSU, as of right now are lower on the totem pole than Purdue.
Current Power Rankings for me:
7) Penn State*
9) Michigan State
Would not be surprised to see OSU go undefeated. Would also not be surprised to see MSU beat Michigan.
Again, even UM's talent is still over hyped. They got crushed by ND, we could have won. We almost beat OSU and should have beat Iowa (duh). We would get crushed by Bama also, of course.
That said, UM is crushing the opponents that they should. We struggled with poor teams.
That being said, OSU did allow Indiana 49 pts....
I hate scUm like poison, but they didn't get "crushed" by ND. They out gained ND 299-239, and dominated in time-of-possession and rushing yards. The QB was garbage and threw 5 int's, and they still only lost by 7.

Absolutely not I remember reading on this site how Purdue were the darkhorses to make to Indianapolis and they were going to beat Michigan this year.
May be confused ND with Bama???
scum is doing what we have done the last several years.
Purdue and Illinois played Wisc and UM the last 2 weeks. And over the last 2 weeks Wisc and UM seem to be playing the best all around football in all 3 phases. It looks like these 2 teams might end up in Indy the way it looks now unless Neb and NW can find a defense or MSU and Iowa can find an offense. Wisc is already a shoo in for Indy having dispatched Purdue. Illinois is just plain bad and probably the the worst team in the B1G but Purdue is still a pretty good team and I would not be surprized if they give OSU a tough game this week. OSU has serious problems on defense especially in the back 7 and had to convert their FB to start at LBer. Their back 7 is playing bad fundamental defense being out of position combined with poor tackling. If we had an offense we would have lit them up like everyone else is. UM and Wisc took control of Purdue with their defenses, not sure OSU will be able to do that.

I see a lot of people on here trying to convince themselves that Michigan isn't good or hasn't played and beaten anyone good...what is the purpose of that? It's not going to change what happens, and then, if you are successful in convincing yourself that Michigan sucks it either a) makes MSU look even worse if they lose, or b) takes away from the victory if they win.
Its just a question.
Illinois is by far the worst team in the B10 and Purdue is probably #10 in my opinion.
8. Penn State
I'd argue Minnesota is better than Purdue possibly too.
Don't disagree with your rankings at the bottom. We'll see just how "bad" Minnesota is this weekend. And I would need to see another solid performance out of UW to consider keeping them at #2.
Even after last weekend, I still think MSU is a better team than Iowa.
It's going to be nice to get a scheduling break next year when we don't play OSU, Wisconsin or Penn State.
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
Yeah I know Purdue has played better vs our common opponents, but since entering B1G play their offense is much worse than even ours and their defense sucks too.
Don't know about UM, but MSU just lost to a bottom 4 Big Ten team at home.
This is just absurd, even for the most pathological homer fans.
why so antagonistic?
