In section 6, row 4*, seat **, there was a miserable old bastard wearing MSU gear, who could do nothing but complain about the team, the coaches, and the students. When something good for Northwestern happened, he was a bitchy old man who had to give his ill informed opinion to everyone in the section. When Burbridge caught his touchdown and we got the 2 point conversion, he sat quietly in his seat with his arms folded and could not be happy for the team.
My reason for calling this man out is that I firmly believe it is one of you bonars on this board in the Tanfan mold who loathe themselves, other MSU fans, and the football team as a whole. Shame on you for attending that game with your shitty attitude, dipshit commentary, and your stupid moustache.
It is possible to be a fan without being an asshole. Rant over.

Old farts like that are a dime-a-dozen in Spartan Stadium.
Next time, take a picture of that miserable fucker and post it here. Fans like that should stay at home.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
I got yelled at for swearing when we tackled the punt returner for no reason.
Pretty sure that guy reeeally didn't like me after one of the pass interference calls.
I spent on season sitting on the 35 and promptly moved back to south end zone the next season for exactly this reason. Too many old effers like that for my liking.
only a pussy would afraid to confront a old man in person and choose to do it on a message board.
I was the guy in section 8 going crazy for our team. I moved down to 8 this season to sit with friends. My real seats are upstairs. You people have Maria's Tacos down there! Where they hell have these things been? 11.50 for 3 tacos and a drink but damn good shit.
Oh, and I was the guy who rifled his drink cup into the trash barrel on my way out. I think it exploded.

Rare fans like this present a situation where an empty seat is a better option.
On a sort of but not really related note... did anyone notice the stat they showed toward the beginning of the game that said "79% of fans do not use profanities during the game."
How the hell did they calculate that? Did they take a survey? I wasn't polled.
New Swear-ometers were installed with the scoreboards. They're able to pick up profanity from a mile away.
Nah. I would have been banned from the stadium for life after the interference call at the end of the Nebraska game.
I just don't get why people do this. Not just old geezers by the way. Been around some recent grads that behaved similarly. Luckily in our section they tend to flame out and leave the next season. If you are that miserable just stay home.
The moment is eternal
Conversely, I was cheering my ass off with a bunch of friends and was told I was an "embarrasment to myself" by some guy with a bunch of kids. Threatened to call the usher and have me kicked out. I guess I may have sworn once or twice, but the dude was way, waaaaaaay too sensitive.
I wonder if that guy's on this board....
I was still swearing about that call at kickoff yesterday.
tRCMB - Visit at your own risk of being disgusted.
No swearing allowed?
Thank you, Denicos.
This type of fan is not just the old farts...I hear plenty of people in the stands that would not be considered old farts (<40) who seem to take joy in the Spartans playing poorly.
However, my bigger problems are with the people that do not know the rules of football are the difference between college and NFL rules. They don't understand why the football is only advanced 15 yds on a pass interference call.
Yesterday after an incomplete pass by MSU, one fool behind us wanted them to hurry-up because the clock was running (play clock of course).
Message board loser is your typical coward pansy. It's nice to know he thinks about me at the games and choses to start a thread about how much he hates me. Made my day.

Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
I was more giving them a frame of reference as to what kind of douche I was dealing with. I could have easily used Mudjin Harbor in your place, and everyone would've known what I meant. You aren't special, just a douche
There was a really strange situation in section 19 towards the top.
I'm sure everyone who sits around there knows the guy who yells "does everybody know what time it is?" on each first down. The guy and his buddy are just going nuts booing our players/coaches throughout most of the game.
A couple kids below him must have yelled something back up because the two guys started screaming obscenities and how they were going to kick their ass (the guy is sitting next to his ~10 year old son btw). When someone calls his buddy out for being a great example for his son, he screams "MY KID WILL KICK YOUR ASS TOO"
It was embarrassing to watch the guy act that way in font of his kid.
Totally unfair,I was not even at the game on Saturday.
I always miss the good stuff. Next time get that guy on your phone and upload it to youtube
Can't wait until Maryland joins the conference and I don't have to go to Spartan Stadium as much and witness this stuff any more.
sounds like my section about 90% of the "fans" are miserable horrible people. I can't wait to relocate next year.
The guy with the cowbell in section 28, worst fan ever, never heard so much bitching and complaining from a previous band member
I've been threatened to be kicked out of a game before for swearing. Now if all you are saying is "fuck this" and "fuck that" all game long, I can understand. But when one slips out, they're calling for you head. It's a public football game, not a church group people.
I feel unloved. No one on this board called me out.
I haven't much dabbled in the threads that rip the fans in the stands, but it's very, very frustrating to be there sometimes. I'm very loud and very vocal and somewhat unapologetic about it. It's a FOOTBALL GAME. Stop telling me to be quiet and sit down. If you don't like the gameday environment, stay on the couch.
