I can honestly say I've never been walking in any store anywhere, and heard someone yell: "Are you fucking blind? What the fuck is the matter with you?! Get your fucking head out of your goddamn asshole!"
But I've heard it at a Spartan game.
You act like people only swear at home MSU games and that it is NOT normal behavior for a football game.
Have you ever attended a game at another major D1 or pro venue? It's no different.
This is BS. The team was 5-5 heading into the game. What do people expect? Were they saving some great offensive gameplan for the 'Cats?
This team is what it is at this point. If you were really that surprised about what happened on Saturday, well, you are an idiot.
Not gonna get better. As long as max is the qb and roushar is the oc you won't see shit.

Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
Why does it need to get better? Maxwell has already said this has been a successful season.
+1 and I'm actually gonna side with you and the OP a bit on this. I don't feel any need to list my fan resume, but the type of shit we've witnessed this year gets old....fast.
I totally get where these asshole/miserable fans are coming from and I often do laugh at our team and make fun of them as a coping mechanism. Does that make me less a fan? Do I care less than those who keep cheering all game long? I don't think so.
Sometimes all you can do is laugh and root against your team. Often times that's a whole lot easier than getting all worked up about it.
Having said that, I do generally try to keep those thoughts to myself while at the game, or at least under my breath.
Thank you, Denicos.
When you young punks start to get older, you'll become familiar with the very scary yet very real possibility that you'll never get to see MSU in the Rose Bowl again b/c of continued fostering of incompetence. At least some of us got to see it in '87. You young fuckers are going to be even more bitter.
Vim -- noun: robust energy and enthusiasm : VITALITY
Perfect...I'm an old bastard who is fricking bitter as hell ...easiest year to win BIG and we crapped the bed
Yes, but I'm sure those stats were collected using 2010 or 2011 games, where MSU was 7-0 at home, and not during this year's 2-5 campaign.
This, I didn't go in 1987. I believed we would get back there one day. It's been 25 plus years. This is why I am so fucking bitter. I don't see it happening any time soon now. The team has regressed and I don't see any improvement on the horizon. Now that OSU has a great coach and the ND game is pretty much a guaranteed loss, MSU going to the Rose Bowl may not happen until I am in my 70s or later. I am 52. The young sunshine blower crew are spoiled by two years of success. Wait until the years of 6 and 6 start to extend to decades. they wonder why the old fuckers in the stands are yelling and pissed off.
I'd call someone out for being brilliant.
But, And here is why you're looked at by 'the young crowd' as a crotchety old dingus, you take PLEASURE in a loss. It gives you something to bitch about. It's a personality defect similar to that of a nosy neighbor who has a shitty secret about everyone and holds it over them. You thrive in misery (I'm referring to the lot of you curmudgeons because I imagine there are roves of you out there).
I get it, you're jaded. I would be too, I watched every JLS game and most of the Bobby Willliams era, so I'm no stranger to losing football, I'm just not ready to put a bullet in my head over an MSU touchdown.
