Don't try and reason with him. You are wasting your time on a a waste of oxygen. He is as dumb as the day is long.
Thanks. Appreciate the honest response.
"I love March!" - Tom Izzo
OL sucks? That sucky OL allowed zero sacks of Maxwell against Nebraska.
WR's can't catch? I recall one WR pass drop against Nebraska. The lob pass that Lippett dropped.
That's obvious problems? Not so obvious to me.
Perhaps you and SpartanShane can put your collective heads together and brainstorm on that.
Agree, but for you to say it is almost 100% wr drops and poor OL play is wrong. Flat wrong. For starters, Maxwell could be averaging 50 rush yards a game. Sometimes I feel I can make a pot of coffee while he its surveying the field. Him not pulling the ball down is coaching.
Next, ahh what difference does out make. I love those kids for trying but this truly is a jls moment, the coaches (one in particular) is screwing out up. Remember this staffs first year where we completely changed the playbook with a first year starting qb and we still looked more competent? His name was treadwell, Don Treadwell.
I doubt anyone could do much better. I hope we make a bowl game. I think in January/ December our passing game will be much more efficient. If not Dantonio will probably make some changes.
Dick, I wholeheartedly agree with you, but you might as well give up. As I said in another thread, the culture of losing here is so deeply ingrained that MD's two 11 win seasons have basically earned him at least 2 or 3 seasons free of tough questions by a large portion of the fan base. He's the second coming of Christ to most people. He and his staff have done plenty to run this season into the ground, but many won't permit you to question said staff's decisions until it's far too late to reverse any damage.
The future of this program remains to be seen, and I'm greatly inclined to believe that MD is the right man for the job in the long term. But he and staff have majorly screwed the pooch this season.
Someone should have questioned him two years ago when it took him a very long time to hire a new OC and he settled for an internal hire.
Nίκη για MSU
Here are Dantonio's likely answers to your oh-so-important questions:
Why does MSU keep getting beat at home coach?
MD: Because the other team scored more points. That happens sometimes. This season more than others.
Are you going to do anything different to keep this from happening?
MD: I'm going to continue to prepare our team as best as I possibly can for every game. I see the big picture and I'm not going to panic just because Dick's Fake Eye thinks I've suddenly forgotten how to coach. I didn't win 11 games in each of the last two years by accident.
We had high expectations. We didn't live up to them. There's no big mystery behind it. We just weren't as good as we hoped we'd be. Dantonio's history suggests we'll get better.
Pretty much it. It's amazing how clueless people are...scary actually. MD was god last year and this year he can't coach. Really? Amazing.
The moment is eternal
