Restaurant review for Gustafson's Smoked Fish and Beef Jerky, Brevort, MI
Where the hell is Brevort?
best tasting jerky (and healthiest) is the jerky you make at home. its not expensive or hard to do. get your hands on some quality fresh meat from a local farm or coop and buy a dehydrating unit, make one yourself, use your oven, etc.
or, be really nice to me, since i live in denver and they sell the most incredible jerky at the weekend farmers market on my block. i can get beef, yak, elk, deer, moose, turkey, fish.... you name it i can get it and ship it over to you.

Picked up a bag of BBQ Pork Jack Links, some of the better stuff I've had in a while. Just the right amount of spice.
Fresh stuff I'd have to go with Twin Ponds Archery in Stanton, Mi. The hot beef jerky is awesome and the hot turkey jerky is probably the best stuff on earth when its fresh.

Don't know the name of the place, but it is north of Uncle John's Cider Mill on 127 (west side of the road). Picked up kangaroo jerky the last time I hopped in there.... surprisingly tasty.
Edit: Brick House Jerky.
Not sure if they can rebuild those starter motors for you though.
