Interesting. Before the game was over on Saturday night, the abc sideline reporter asked Barry if he would ever return to coaching? She told viewers that he didn't respond but as he was walking away he just smiled at her. I wonder if he knew then what was about to happen?

"I think the world is run by C students"
It's gonna be tough to watch. Like that scene in Rocky III where Mr. T pushed Mickey down.
Is Alvarez coaching Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl going to be as pathetic as when Don Zimmer charged Pedro?
A disgusting act by Hot Coldman.
Has Chitown chimed in yet? Haven't read the whole thread.
safe to say...
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
Then he is going to really dig the patience and laid back attitude of the Razorback fans.
They were ecstatic with Petrino, what did he win?
UW fans have an inflated view of their program.
They're not going to win anyway, so this would be kind of cool.
Man, I knew Bielema was dumb, but this is a lateral move at best. What a douche.
Post as if your wife was sitting on my lap.
He probably thought of what this board would be like and decided to take a week off
21 games in the last two years.
and the only losses were to teams ranked in the top 5.

I think the reported FOUR MIL PER YEAR.....will cushion the blows and barbs......hey, like another poster said they loved Petrino before he got caught with da skank and what did he win?
....bottom line: meathead made a money grab: suck it madison
OK, UW with its 3rd straight rose bowl, and won the only two big ten championships. UW fans not happy - whatever better watch out what they wish for.
Good bye Meathead....suuuuuuey....PIG!!!!

Nίκη για MSU
I wonder if the booger-eater will be a candidate to replace him.
Bielema was just the right piece to keep the well oiled Alvarez machine running. Despite his idiocy and quirks, the wheels kept turning and Wisconsin reached new heights. Without him they'll probably sink a little but probably return to being a 8-11 win team, and both our beloved Cro-Magnon and his fanbase will find out they're a shitty match.
Not in a million years: that was Joe Rudolph (not Chryst as you might be implying).....YES I realize that was sarcasm
This. Doubtful former NIU HC, former Wisky DC Doren would tell NC State nevermind.
Beilema didn't see the Iowa job opening up in the next 5 years. His Badger Godfather AD Alvarez is 66. So he took stock of where he was and knew with OSU being eligible for the Big Ten Championship for the forseeable future he was better off to take the Razorback job.
Look at the timeline. Beilema is 42. He signs a fat contract at Arkansas for 5 years. At the end of the contract or before after losing to $lickNick's 'Bama, Miles' L$U and possible Gus Malzhan at Auburn 3 to 4 years in a row. Beilema's 46 or 47 while Ferentz is 62. Much easier to leave Arkansas for your alma mater than leaving another Big Ten school for Iowa.
Why not? All he has to do is own up to at the press-conference and he will win the faithful of wisconsin back. "Yeah, I ate that booger. What's it to you?" They will love it.
Oh yes, the always set in stone "system." I must not have thought about that.
Fletch is right Wisconsin had no right to be in 2 out of those 3 Rose Bowls but don't let that stop you ball sakimo.
John Daly approves of the hire
All good we finally have a coach I'm so excited the search is over #razorbacks
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
