Everyone here may be surprised, but Brett hasn't exactly been popular with the Wusconsin faithful. They've been bitching about him for years. He saw an opportunity to make some bucks and took it. WOTS is that Alverez hasn't been pleased with his stupid game decisions.

Can you imagine him and Les Miles in the final minute of an Arkansas-LSU game?
Dear fucking lord..
Trollin trollin trollin, watch them doggies trollin.
Doesn't matter whether or not Alvaraz is happy with his game time decisions...Bielema took them to three straight Rose Bowls and won 3 Big Ten Championships in a row..something Alvaraz hasn't done since Ron Dayne. I think one of the main reasons for the departure of Bielema is that he doesn't have the assistants anymore that helped him get to the Rose Bowl, knowing that Ohio State is back next year and he hasn't been recruiting that well either..so I think this is his shot to cash in on the paycheck and leave Wisconsin for Arkansas. Also if I was Brett and even Dantonio and some of the coaches from other schools, it is BS that the Big Ten (Delaney) think so highly of Michigan and Ohio State. Because of this you will always see it difficult for programs not named Michigan and Ohio State sustain success in the Big Ten conference or maintain their coaching staff. I don't see that type of garbage in the SEC. SEC is open for any team to be successful (one year it was Florida, now it is Alabama, LSU, etc.)
Lots of win in this thread... Gold Medal thus far
Let me get this down, $100 million. Oh wait, I have a better idea. Instead of $100 million, how about I send you a hobo's dick cheese?
They would balance each other out. The timeouts they don't take to help their own team would be used to accidentally help out the other team.
Michigan already did that. Can't wait for UM to go against him in a few more years.
Oh don't worry, I'm sure the lower tier B1G schools will take the added revenue from those fancy new TV markets and immediately invest it in better head coaches, coordinators, and facilities.
The shear volume of inaccurate statements in this post is oddly impressive.

The collective IQ of both states goes up with this move.
They don't need to. They're already in fine shape academically and making a lot of money.
Trying to figure out how this is different from most of the past 15 years or so...
Agreed... we ain't what we used to be.
Dude... just stop.
The last word in your first sentence is anyone sitting in the 12 (14, 16, whatever) President's offices cares about. They don't care if B10 teams get embarrassed in bowl games, as long as they keep going to them and bringing back the checks. And they'll keep going to them as long as they draw eyes to TVs.
They've sold their souls to the Delaney, er devil.
Next Year's Gator bowl
Razorbacks v Badgers
You sound like Northwestern students who used to chant "It's alright, it's ok, you're gonna work for us one day" while down 50 (in either football or basketball).
Oh, I'm sure a wild string of improbabilities will have a 6-6 Wisconsin team playing in their fourth consecutive Rose Bowl with their first year Head Coach.
Well, he is ancient . . .
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Nothing from Chitown Badger on this yet?
Time to pass the Cheesehead and get some $$$
Or the past 40 with SEC replacing the Pac 10 as doing the post season whipping.
This is pretty sweet. I figure both of us share a healthy dislike for Beilema and Wisky in general. Career suicide for Beilema and Wisky could fall off a cliff here.
