When did Lebron play football. They don't let anyone touch the fairy in the NBA I doubt he could take a hit in the NFL.
He was damn good in high school. Izzo loves football players. How many of the guys on Izzo's NC team played football in high school? Quite a few I think.
According to Magic Johnson circa y2k Pele was the top athlete of the 20th century.
What about Dan vs. Dave??

Just my opinion, but the World Record holder in the Decathalon has to be considered as the greatest athlete of all-time... so for me, the greatest athlete of all-time is Ashton Eaton. But honestly the moment I considered the "best all-time athlete"..first athletes that came to mind were Bo Jackson and Jim Thorpe.
I've claimed, had arguments, etc for a long time that Bo Jackson is the best athlete of all time, glad to see him finally getting his due.
"Come and take them"
Here's my cool story about BJ.
Go to a Tiger game versus the Royals. On the way to the game, my Dad says, "I hope to see the Tigers win, and Bo Jackson hit a dinger"
That's exactly what happened. And Bo Jackson just crushed it. I think the ball was still on an upward trajectory when it hit the 2nd deck.
Bo knows baseball.
There's something to this. Recall the Bad Boys - how'd they'd rough up MJ a little. That is now a completely bygone era.
We now get to see Lebron charge down the lane with complete impunity.
He's 6-8 and weighs almost 250 pounds. If you don't think he could take a hit or two, you're delusional.
The refs wouldn't let them rough up Jordan back then either. Pippen was another story.
Also LeBron has about 20 lbs of muscle on guys like Laimbeer and Mahorn.
I am gravely disappointed. Again you have made me unleash my dogs of war.
Bo Jackson beat Jim Brown in their finals.
Not surprising. I'd take him over anyone at this point too. His speed and power are almost unmatched in his prime. Combine that with his agility, and then you throw in his ability to hit a major league curve ball and fast ball, as I've said a feat in which many say is the toughest in sport, you have to go with him as the greatest athlete of all time.
