God this is all putting me back in rage mode, plus I had a few of my friends who are nothing more than casual hoops fans bitching at me on FB and twitter for posting "We win that game by 10 at a neutral site and more at the bres. Assembly Hall screwed us and it's bullshit."
I honestly can't stand most casual fans because of that type of shit, they don't watch the game enough to competently analyze the game, so they just bitch about my bitching. Anyone who thinks you shouldn't be able to critique and complain about poor officiating, either siting that it's "part of the game" or any other bullshit, should just fuck themselves. It's like the replacement refs in the NFL, every mistake and blown call was blown up and made to be news to get the "real" refs back, then the real refs blow a bunch of calls and it's a non issue because we're not allowed to talk about it.
I think he got it just as it came off the glass.

If we can trick Coach Krzyzewski into saying his own name backwards, perhaps he will be pushed back to the fifth dimension
Actually, while it appeared that way from the camera angle we had live, when replayed, he never touched the defender, he did a stop move and juked the defender literally off his feet. Hell of a move, just like Dawson's, evidently the refs in this game aren't used to big time moves.
What also really burns it that you could take any 5-minute stretch and find multiple times when Home Depot could have been called for a foul and he wasn't, yet they call 3 tick-tack BS calls on Appling, and call that early in the half both times so as to force him to the bench. Home Depot was 100% more aggressive on D, and was pushing the crap out of people all over the court. You call a tenth of his fouls, he's out. Let's see IU win that game without him, or even stay close, like we were forced to do for over half the game without Appling.
Yep, he juked Yogi hard and while his left arm did extend to the left, you can see Yogi slide backward when Trice stops to pull back for his jumper.
How about when Trice was diving after a loose ball at half court and Sheehy clearly gave him a forearm in the back, rather than going after the ball... off of us, possession to IU.
That was stunning, couldn't believe there wasn't a foul called there.
this is why i hope the game was good experience for Trice, he needs to learn how to exploit the aggressiveness of quicker and more athletic guards, and sell the contact to the official.
I think we should take some of these people, and send 'em up to Bear Mountain for a picnic.
