Still pissed about being Clowny'ed, or the 23 point beat down a couple of weeks ago?
This was because of someone else. Guarantee it.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
This is the last guy I wanted. I could have been happy with 100 other OC's. It's a boring, retreaded, uninspired hire. My only hope is that Dantonio is taking over play calling. Otherwise, Damion Terry is going to be completely wasted here.

Tressel said he has received critical e-mails, but said the fans' poison makes him feel sorry for them.
"When I read some of them I feel terrible for them because there's no way they're happy," he said. "They've got to be some of the most unhappy people in the world, and I feel bad because we just made them less happy, and I hate to be a part of making someone less happy. I mean, they're already miserable."
Folks, why should we be surprised or disappointed? This is Mark Dantonio, one who stays true to form on who he is and what he believes in. Lets see how it plays out.
Jim Bollman must be good at confusing defenses... Just look at all the confusion he's caused among OSU fans:
No two posters can agree on which part of the successes/failures he was ultimately responsible for.
I'm sure Terry would agree with you. Nice post. Want to name those other 100 OCs?
I think 2011 answers your question, be it fair or not. There is also the belief that the oline underperformed despite having a ton of talent (oline coaching is all on Bollman).
Like I stated, I don't agree with putting most of 2001-2010 on Bollman, and that means Bollman does have a small sample size. Yet what there is isn't good, although his oline coaching is not necessarily bad either (very high expectations at Ohio State).
Like I stated before, we shall see how it works out, but what there is doesn't provide a lot of confidence. Yet he does deserve some benefit of the doubt.
Your crying was legendary on the old board. And like a typical phish fan, you're an arrogant, know nothing bag of dicks. You and jack fit perfectly. His inherent frat guy douchiness mixed with your putrid music taste makes for one pathetic caricature. It is noble however to see the CSB bond so quickly in denouncing a hire that hasn't been confirmed yet. The sky is falling crew never takes a break.
"Bouncing round the room" omg lulz

"losing Caleb Benenoch is a blow that Dantonio will never recover from. Izzo has lost it as well. Hoke and Beilein own the state."
Nice, would love that at MSU.
Not very excited about this hire, but hopefully it pans out better than this cluster of a thread.
He sounds like he's describing the posters on here
He basically IS Roushar. Got a bunch of unwarranted hate from an impatient fan base.
They blame him for 2011 with tattoo gate, true freshman Braxton Miller and etc.......I think we should give this guy a chance b4 we destroy him.
"What is green and white and red all over? The Spartans pounding their chests after this bloodbath" -Mitch Albom 11/2/13
And he's mad. Right on cue.
Time to call Chief Justice duffy here while you go cool down for a bit and he can take over your agenda.
It's not even really a hire yet. Just a rumor no one can get confirmed.
How would you describe his responsibilities during that period then? And what grade would you give his performance for said duties?
Yep. Recruiting, paper titles, and coach physique (which is strange given the blimps that occupy the UM sideline) are all jacky and Harry have to cry about
The funny thing about my back is it's located on my cock.
don't forget that in college 4.9 ypc lands you right in the middle of the pack.
Lol at those thinking we might get "elephant hunter" as OC. This is a career 7-5 program type of move.
You guys ha a 60 year old QB? Glad he won't fill that role here.
Sure, you've got 2011. But the successes and failures of that season is just as difficult to assign to one person as 2001-2010. Sure, everybody wants to put it on him, but that's not fair given what was going on and the talent that had left (both coaching and players) and everyone knows it.
As for the underperforming OL, I strongly disagree, as morgarc pointed out, tailbacks at OSU did quite well behind his OLs.
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
OSU fans also cheered when Tressel was carried off the field last year before the Michigan game.
A bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work!!
It is an unknown. He definitely had control of OL development, so that can be directly critiqued. Yet as far as an OC, he was involved in game planning and made suggestions on plays. How much, who knows other than Ohio State coaches? As with all things, the man making the final decision accepts the blame. Since Bollman did not have final call, I don't really know and therefore I have not made a conclusion in his years before 2011. Yet from all reports Tressel was the main decision maker on offense while letting his DC make defensive decisions (he is directly quoted to that effect in the second article I wrote).
