I love it. Typical RCMB overreaction thread. First, MSU offenses are conservative because that's what the head coach likes. If you want to change this you better be prepared to fire Coach D. Second, it doesn't matter what offense you run if you have the right players. MSU's offense had been fine until last year when we had a lot of inexperience and a banged up OL.
I know some folks here want to ignore the message some of us tried to deliver in a friendly manner, but we truly were not kidding. I'm glad to see your relatives are confirming this message. I am holding out hope for you all that he will just be a position coach for you so as to minimize the damage imprint.
OSU trolls, I am asking you make a useful contribution to this board just once, that's all. Is this guy a decent recruiter?
Now with a PhD in Applied Llama Physics...
And that contribution would be to leave.
NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.
He didn't think Taylor Decker was Ohio State caliber, but apparently Tommy Brown and Chris Carter were? If he is your OC then you don't get Drake Harris, because someone will remind him that OSU's leading reciever in 2011 had exactly 14 catches.
I miss my Kate Upton Picture
Not to troll... but Miller was brutal that year. He probably took more sacks against MSU than he had completions.
You're not exactly a troll but thanks for the info. That really sucks, our previous O-coordinator was terrible as well at recruiting.
6 big ten championships (3 outright)
6-4 bowl record
1 Heisman Trophy winner
1 national championship
Sounds pretty impressive to me.
Miller sucked in 2011.
Anyone that brings up 2011 is just a Moran.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Miller only played half the game, bauserman was getting butt raped the other half of the game.
He did have the headset and play sheet
Sorry, but Braxton couldn't have completed a pass to the student section that year let alone a receiver...
Most of you get what you deserve. You ran Roushar out of town thinking MSU would just open the vault. This type of hire was entirely predictable.
Even though I'm not excited about the hire. He's still better than Roushar.
Regardless, their QBs made Maxwell look like effing Peyton Manning.
Coach D's favorite song.

Not entirely, given recent quotes about opening up O and the hire of the DL coach, as well as MSU's name popping up recently for some young guns who've taken other jobs but met with MSU.
Honestly, do you really think this message board ran him off to take the running backs job with The Saints, really?
Trust me when I say that 99% of Ohio State fans who come over here are not trying to troll on the topic of Jim Bollman. We honestly can't believe Dantonio would do this.
Even during the successes we had under Tressel, Bollman's offensive lines were the absolute ban of our existence.
From 2006-2011 (second half of his tenure) Ohio State had three offensive linemen in total drafted.
Kirk Barton in like the 7th round, Doug Datish in like the 6th round and then Mike Adams in the second round in his last year.
Bollman will be given 'credit' for the Brew Crew (Adams, Brewster, Shugarts) but only one of those guys even got drafted. Alex Boone was another five star guy who didn't even get drafted under Bollman's "tutelage". Not to mention that the Brew Crew came to OSU to play together because Adams & Brewster had OSU ties and all three loved Tressel.
There's a large school of thought that Bollman & Doc Tressel were on the staff for so long because JT liked spending time with them and he could make up for any of their deficiencies.
Also, all playcalling credit during the good years went to Jim Tressel, with a healthy assist to now-Purdue Coach Darrell Hazell, who was the biggest spark to help Tressel take advantage of Pryor and his running skills. There's a reason Hazell went from "Assistant Head Coach/WR Coach" to Kent State's top job while no one in their right mind even interviewed Bollman for a head coaching job in his decade in Columbus.
Just mind-bendingly stupid if he actually is hired. Sparty deserves so much better than a guy who is a lazy recruiter, sub-part OL coach and fantastically brutal playcaller.

He can recruit but then turns 5 star linemen into pillars of putty.
5 star offensive linemen, what are these you speak of?
LOL- thanks for the heads up.
