Yes and no. Players like him but he's a lazy recruiter.
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
But how many games did they win 17-6 or 16-10? Ohio State fans definitely have a point in that their defense carried the mail for a lot of that decade-long run with Tressel. How many games do they lose with that team that won the title if not for that defense? 3? 4? They had three points against Purdue with 1:30 left. I think that's all most of them are saying ITT.

Remember when Sparty came to Columbus two years ago and held OSU to about 100 total yards, and your defensive lineman were jumping the snap count and nothing changed?
Yeah, that was Bollman calling the plays for us. Enjoy. If you search Ohio State's site for the game write up, you can read the comments to find every conceivable insult imaginable directed at Bollman.
Thanks, how about some pictures of Urban Meyer from your spank bank?
Which is weird, because didn't Ted Gill get fired because he didn't like to recruit?
Notice the down votes.
Herman just went into Texas and nabbed three of their top 10 prospects.
That's my point. You provided facts, thanks, now move on.

Hey, don't let your facts get in the way of his argument.
Absolutely terrific hire by Dantonio.
He put Adams in the NFL when he was at MSU.
But they also say that Tressel called the plays.
Wait, so who ran the offense? Tressel or this guy? Or are you changing your argument?
This board is about to blow until football season actually starts. Nothing like talking about a "failed hire" before a guy is even hired and has a chance.
And then Urban took pretty much the same team if not worse 12-0 the next season. Excuses excuses blow more sunshine.
So why the hell would Tressel have him on staff, as OC nonetheless, for an entire decade of success?
Notice someone was complaining. You said no one was.
I read the first 2 pages of this thread and don't feel like reading the rest, has this been confirmed yet?
This is a Pallas’s cat. Their round pupils give them an odd human quality. They disturb me...deeply.
I've learned not to believe anything from any source except for Rexrode.
He thought he was doing a good job?
No, Hondo is the only one who has mentioned it I think.
This won't end well
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Not yet....but if it is this place will be very entertaining for a few weeks
To die in ann arbor is redundant
lol. You don't think young people buy Corvettes sometimes? I'll be selling the car in about 2-3 years if you're interested. Just send me a PM.
No, those are private.
Wait, I thought that Tressell was responsible for the offense all those years? You can't have it both ways. You can't blame Bollman for the bad, but then give Tressell all the credit for the good. They had a great 11 year run while Bollman was there.
Only douchers do. Get a car with real suspension and isn't a giant piece of plastic with a 60 year old technology motor in it.
