So was Spurrier
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
There has been no talk about it at all, which makes me kinda curious: what about Andy Reid to Chicago?
Thank you, Denicos.

HAHAHAHHHAAHHA that's never going to happen. I'd take chip kelly over brian kelly. McCoy is our top priority anyway
I have an MBA...Master at Being Amazing
Cardinals want reid
If Kelly goes to the Bears, my Domer brother-in-law will come completely unglued.
mine too: fucking guy is a mason with a domer tat on his shoulder: so full of douche. Never went to college of course, that's a given. As for Kelly to the NFL, as I said he isn't qualified yet. Miller is talking out of his ass IMO
McCoy would be a disaster... what has he done that was good without payton manning? Manning made the broncos what they are today not the stupid OC. I will HATE this move if it happens.
I'd rather have kyle shanahan.
hmmmmmmmmmm.....dunno about shanny jr.: my question would be is that offense in Washington his or daddy's? Hard to say really, but Cutler is no RG3 obviously..I don't think he has enough experience quite frankly. I see his Dad isn't letting anyone on his staff interview for jobs until foreskins are out of playoffs....even though NFL says it's ok.
He won a playoff game with Tebow at quarterback. That right there is an accomplishment that is worthy of an automatic promotion to a head coach.
its going to be a coordinator, the name that has been brought up the most in the media is McCoy, but they have already scheduled interviews with Keith Armstrong and Mike Sullivan. I would prefer McCoy over Sullivan, but don't have strong feelings either way on either of them.
Don't see why people are expecting the Bears to go out and get a retread when they have always gone the coordinator route. All of the guys out there were fired for a reason, and a coordinator moving into a HC gig is going to be more beholden to Emery than a retread would be (and a Gruden or Cowher type is going to demand personnel powers).
Go Bears, Blackhawks, White Sox, and Pioneers.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand
Shanny Jr was the OC at Houston before his dad came back.... and they adjusted their O to their personnel is what i love. Its not the same O when Cousins is playing as when RG111 is playing.

The thing I like about McCoy is that he has shown he can mold an offense around the team's personnel. He ran an offense to work with Tebow's strengths and they actually won a playoff game. And even though I think their offense was pretty bad last year, he showed that he can be creative and design plays to work with the players' strengths.
And we all know how good the offense is with Peyton this year. Just give me a guy that is creative on the offensive side of the ball. If McCoy is that guy, great. If it's somebody else, that's fine too.
I live in denver and the O was awful to watch last year with tebow and orton.... Manning runs the O right now, mccoy is just standing on the sidelines holding his dick this season.
you think the fact that Tebow was the fucking QB had something to do with the offense looking like garbage?
But did you read what I wrote? I said I agree that the offense was bad last year. Any offense will be bad with the quarterbacks they had. But what I like is that it's clear he runs an offense to fit his personnel. It's just like what you said about the Redskins. It's a different offense depending on whether it's RG111 or Cousins at QB.
Manning is making the guy look good and he's nothing special... The bears should be looking for a guy who will take us to the super bowl... he's not it. I have to watch every one of their games and Im not buying it.
Neither you or I know whether McCoy can be that guy, but you are claiming he's not it. His offense was shitty with a bad quarterback and great with a good quarterback. So really, that proves nothing. All I'm saying is that I like that his offense was different depending on the personnel.
Anyway, I trust Emery will hire the right guy. He sounds extremely smart in every interview I hear, especially the hour long press conference today.

and RG3 is making Shanahan look good. That same dumbass argument could be made for every coach in the NFL. Without players, none of them are going to be successful.
On the contrary, Shanahan is making RGIII look good.
So a couple days after I had this discussion with you about McCoy, this Ricky O'Donnell guy writes a blog basically saying the same thing I was...
"McCoy is 40 years old and helped the Broncos finish the regular season on an 11-game winning streak to secure a tie for the best record in the NFL at 13-3. Denver's Peyton Manning-led offense was, of course, very good. The Broncos finished fourth in total offense (397 yards per game) and second in points per game (30.1). Denver threw the rock an average of 36.75 times per game and ran it 30 times per game. The Broncos finished No. 2 in Football Outsiders DVOA for total offense.
Perhaps the best thing McCoy has going for him is ability to adapt. This is the man who tailored the Broncos' offense to Tim Tebow a season ago with shockingly successful results. Tebow was 8-5 with a playoff win under McCoy and now can't even find a backup job. That's got to be worth something."
The blog also goes on to talk about how Manning loves McCoy's work ethic. I have a feeling this will be the guy coaching the Bears next year.
The Chicago Bears have six head coaching candidates already lined up. We take a look at each of them.
Kyle Shanahan is a genius!
Look what he has done with RG3, KC12,and that rookie running back.
Blacklisted? The NFL? If a team thought it could win, they'd hire Bin Laden (alive or dead) to coach. For proof, see if Titus Young is sitting at home next year.
Yeah, I have a hard time hating on Hoke, too. A man that large who sounds like Mickey Mouse can't be all bad.
I am surprised that the Bears would even entertain Chip Kelly. They going to run his offense with Jay Cutler running around? LOL..haha
