Apparently Brooks Brothers has started a "collegiate collection" where they put school logos on Brooks Brothers clothing. They have selected 15 schools to use for the collection and MSU is one of them (along with UM, Naval Academy, Duke, Stanford, Princeton, UNC, Alabama, etc). I must admit that I was surprised to see MSU as one of the 15 involved. While I likely won't purchase from the collection (although who knows, they may have some good golf shirts), I think it is pretty cool that we were selected as a university with a big enough following to include in such a collection.

They only have the UM offering at DTW.
All those Brooks Brothers references by Larry Martin in intro to microeconomics really paid off.
where did you find this?
The Brooks Brothers website doesn't have anything for Michigan State and the websites that mention the College Collection do not include MSU.
I searched their site for these offerings, but I was not able to find anything. Anyone have a link or do I need to head to Somerset?
I am on the Brooks Brothers email list and got an email on it today. The email contained the pictures I attached and then directed to your local retailer, which in my case it mentioned the Somerset store. I too tried to find it on their website to see what they offered, but couldn't even find this collection on the website. I don't know what they have in store.
What an odd collection of schools.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Keep us posted on this. Looks awesome.
I only received my daily email from Brooks Brothers directing me to buy a sweater.
Yeah, I only got the sweater one too.
That is odd because I got the sweater one as well, but also got this email. Maybe it is because I have purchased online and they have my address near a local retailer that carries some of the line. I have no idea.
Yeah, you don't see a lot of NYU gear. But then I don't get into Saks or Macy's very often either.
Why are you so surprised? MSU is one of the top 10 schools with the highest sales of fan gear, right?
Larry Martin was a great professor. He pretty much gave away the answers to the exams or weekly quizzes the night before Friday recitations. I remember him being pretty funny.
Yeah, I only got the sweater e-mail. Can you post a link to the collection, or an entire screenshot of the email?
Somebody tell me where I can buy this online or I swear to god I'll kill myself!
Exactly. I would consider Brooks Brothers an elitist brand and awesome that MSU is included. Look forward to buying a polo and/or sweater.
I can't seem to find it anywhere online, which seems strange for a retailer like Brooks Brothers that does so much online business. Here is the full email - it looks a lot like most of there emails. The difference on this one is that when you click on the logo it takes you to the store locator and not their retail site or a site for the collection.
Edit: Sorry, I have a pdf of the email but this site won't let me upload it because it is too big (I can't do a screen shot either because I don't know how to redact it and I am not willing to give out all of that personal info to the people on this site - no offense, but I have seen your work before). As I said, however, it looks like most of their emails. It looks like their webpage with the drop-down columns on top, above the pictures I posted in the OP (with the first one on top and then the second immediately underneath - those pictures were copied directly from the email to me) and then a store location (in my case it give the address to the Somerset store). As noted above, if you click anywhere on the email it takes you to the store locator on their website.
What does the MSU stuff look like?
The trousers don't match the cravat!
From what I can tell, this is the second year they have been doing this and MSU was not included in the first group of schools (Hollis apparently got us in for year two though). I can't find pics of the MSU gear so far, but here are some pics of gear from other schools.
