Holy crap, $189 for a sweater, that seems high even for Brooks Brothers. Was thinking it would be in the $125 range.
Posting member of tRCMB since 1997.
It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
Here is what they have at the Somerset store. They definitely had more UM than Spartan gear. Guy helping me said that is because this is the first year that MSU is involved and that they just started getting Spartan gear in. He said they anticipate getting more soon. Of the products, the v-neck was my favorite but the color was not right (green was too bright for the new green); I preferred the tie on the right but it was too skinny for my taste (I am old school in my tie preferences and that one was pretty skinny); the polo has the logo stitched on the right sleeve and also the BB logo stitched on the left breast. If I remember correctly, the prices are as follows:
Sweater - $118
Ties - $89
Polo - $79
Continued bc 247 couldn't handle all three pics at once.
do these come in XXXXL?

The sweater is bad ass!!
Not a fan of any of it. Green isn't right, and the ties are gaudy.
The sweater is very cool. The ties are OK - they don't look that much different than the ones at the bookstores though. I'm not a fan of the polo at all - maybe I'd have to see it in person.
Typical Brooks Brothers. Suck you in with a lot of hype, then offer high-quality, yet boring and still pretty damned expensive payoff.
That is exactly what happens every time I'm lured in by their shirt sales.
That sweater is a grandpa sweater.
Now, I don't know much about them old city slicker Brooks Bros., but they can't be that classy of a joint. I searched their site while at the library and they don't even sell this tie:
Clearly they're not targeting young professionals. Old fucks like Tanny are gizzing in their pants.

I would wear the shit out of that sweater.
I wish that tie had a mini spartan helm instead of the block S
Of course they aren't targeting young professionals. They are Brooks Brothers. Not many 25 year olds purchase $1200 suits and $100 button-ups. Their target audience is 35 and above - always has been and always will be.
Larry is the man
Really need to sell this crap online.
rich, prep style folks... not a huge demographic of the LAXBRO types outside of the east coast... but that is a 20-30 something crowd that considers labels like J. Press, Brooks Brothers, etc. as the epitome of class and style. Just look into Prep Style and you'll find gobs of stuff generated by the youngin's
You should just cut out a stitched MSU logo, and have your wife sew it on a sweater then.
hoke- to alter or manipulate so as to give a deceptively or superficially improved quality or value.
That would go perfect with this vest.
I'd rather wear one of these, if it was the correct color scheme:

I'm more of a Facconable type guy...I'll have to check out Brooks Brothers some more.
I'm a young professional and I want that tie on the right. Just sayin...
