Accordiing to Schwartz at the presser. Opposite knee from the one in college
Good Lord. What a year.
Might as well tank for a higher draft pick now. The receiving depth is non-existent with Titus Young being a jerk.
awful draft pick

Lions should move and get a new team like Houston did with the Texans.
"If they want to mock us, I'm telling them it's not over. It will never be over here. It's just starting." - Mark Dantonio, 2007
If I cared about Lions football half as much as I care about MSU football, this year would be one for the ages.
I'm back to ceing a Tampa Bay fan. Doug martin is fun to watch. They are really good at drafting too.
Well, I guess this makes WR an early round priority for the draft.
I'm not sure if Mayhew can go against his nature, inherited from his mentor, and take a 2nd-3rd round WR.
What a year for football... Wish the Tigers had won just so this fall wasn't a compete failure.
His knees are more shaky than FDR's
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
Hey atleast the Wings are undefeated
If I could stop being a Lions fan, I would. I've tried getting out, but they pull me back in.
Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. - Groucho Marx
The Lions are to WRs as Spinal Tap is to drummers...
I really hope they take Teo in the next draft
WR is the least of Lions problems. I think we could take 11 of us from the RCMB and pass on that defense.
I can see a lot of people venting their frustration in this thread and that's OK.
Keep in mind what happened last year. We can do it again.
My hope is we draft defensive back and offensive line within the early rounds in this next draft and get a sleeper WR in the later rounds. Look at T.Y. Hilton, Keyshawn Martin, and others for examples.
Ha. Titus Young will be gone, and they'll get nothing for him. Broyles will probably never be anything now. 2 first round picks wasted - sure wouldn't mind having some defense to show for those picks.
At this point as a fan, you almost gotta root that they lose out and get another top five pick to help out that woeful back end of their defense. Sad to hear about Broyles combine that with Young's issues. What looked like some good young depth is starting to look quite shaky. Go figure... it's the Lions.
Neither guy was a first round pick.
True, but that wasn't the point. The point was we drafted wide receivers when we could have drafted defense.
Actually it's a major issue for the Lions. Other than Megatron, here are the active Lion receivers:
and Kris Durham on the practice squad
The average RCMBer could crack that rotation.
And we'd be even more screwed on offense given that Detroit is a passing team. It's a trade off. I would've preferred different guys in those picks but let's not pretend that Detroit (which tries to go wide open) doesn't need a bunch of receivers.
Ah, yeah, my mistake. Both 2nd rounders I guess. But I still think the point is they will get nothing from them, and they should have used those selections on the shitty defense.
And yet, the Lions' wide receivers weren't the issue yesterday against a borderline playoff team.
It was the defense.
Wide receiver depth used to be a problem when we didn't have a running game. Now that Leshoure and Bell are better, they mask the inadequacies of depth within the WR corps.
Um, the offense scored enough points to win yesterday. Then the defense got railed.
