yes, it's early as balls, but i don't think there's a single team in our projected bracket that could come close to beating an izzo team in the tourney.
"bzzzzzzzzzzz bzbzbzbbzbz" - bees
That would be a joke of a bracket.
Jerry Palm. MAC level Bracketologist.
Our toughest game would be NC State if they got past Ole Miss.
I just don't get bracket projections with this many regular season games to go.
Well, nothing is going to change between now and then. I say let's lace it up now since we already know.
the only team that worries me at all is gonzaga, and they have an inflated resume due to playing shit competition all season. olynyk is pretty good, but if we shut him down with payne/nix/costello/gauna/dawson, i think we could curbstomp them too.
Don't sleep on NC State. They are very athletic, which always gives us fits.
It really has nothing to do with who is playing who but what seed you are getting and where.
We win out = #1 seed.
We win out with BTT loss = #1 seed
We lose late in BTT with another loss = #2 seed
Lose two and BTT = #2-#3 seed
Lose two and BTT Champs = #1-#2 seed borderline
This is what I am thinking. I bet we lose one more regular season game and lose in the semi finals of the BTT. I think we just miss a one seed but are the highest #2 seed, put in the Texas region with Miami (FL) and start in Auburn Hills. Pow pow.
Michigan State University is the university of Michigan
I'll take 'Zaga any day as the #2 seed in a bracket with us at a #1.
Seriously, when the brackets are announced there will be 15 teams that will hate the fact we're in their bracket, no matter where we're seeded.
Unless it's Memphis or mizzou. They totally were going to beat us last year. Until they lost in the first round.
Kind of like NFL mock drafts.
Not liking the thought of playing Long Beach in LA to get to the Final Four.
That bracket makes me wish we could end the season today, and only partly b/c I live in L.A.
We wouldn't want to take NCState lightly, but they're not beating us in Auburn Hills. And since when does Izzo take anyone lightly in the tournament?
Going west could easily mean being in a region with Gonzaga, Arizona and/or New Mexico. Going MW means playing in Indy, in front of a lot of our fans, where we've done very well historically. The FF is in Atlanta, straight down I-75, where we've never lost. This thing is shaping up nicely.
Vim -- noun: robust energy and enthusiasm : VITALITY
We'd have more fans at the game than LBSU.
every bracket ever projected by any bracketologist has been wrong. I don't get people's fascination with projected brackets.
ND has Sherman. We Gone
I will forever hate the play in games referred to as the First Round - it is like trying to explain to my kids which Star Wars episode I liked the best. I still don't get it
I completely, absolutely agree. On both accounts.
That would be the best possible draw IMO. Wow.
Indiana gets FL as the #2 seed, their bracket is the toughest IMO. My final 4 would be FL, MSU, Miami, Louisville.

It's a simple concept.
Draymond Green, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson are the only players to have two triple-doubles in the NCAA Tournament.
Damn right. Doesn't matter what seed we are, people will say "Oh, we got screwed by being put in MSU's bracket!".
