If we're a 1 seed, I would love to have Gonzaga as the 2 seed in our bracket. That team doesn't scare me at all.
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
Our 4 losses have come to two #1 seeds on the road, a #5 seed on the road and a non tournament team in Germany, who can still earn a spot.
UConn is #21 in the RPI (according to bbstate.com), but they're ineligible for the tournament due to NCAA sanctions.
MSU's resmue is better than Florida's.
Draymond Green, Magic Johnson, and Oscar Robertson are the only players to have two triple-doubles in the NCAA Tournament.
Uconn would be in the tournament today as a 9/10 seed. They can't earn a spot as they are ineligible.
Jerry Palm's latest...
I think he just tried to make the hardest possible region (South) and the easiest possible region (West):
4. Ohio State
Then just for the hell of it throw UNC in as the 8 seed.
2. New Mexico
4. Kansas State
Jerry Palm predicts the teams in the NCAA College Basketball Men's Tournament for CBSSports.com.

You left out him throwing in UCLA as the 7 seed. That's absurd.

As a #1 seed, I really wouldn't want to face Creighton or Mizzou in the 2nd round.
If Gonzaga, New Mexico and Arizona do all get grouped into one region, there will be at least one region that is insanely difficult. A lot of other really good teams being jammed into just three regions instead of four.
The East is pretty damn easy too:
While not necessarily as easy as the West, they're all incredibly beatable teams.
This is a Pallas’s cat. Their round pupils give them an odd human quality. They disturb me...deeply.
That's terribly unbalanced.
Duke hasn't lost while playing with Kelly. Not sure how they're "incredibly beatable".
If Duke and Florida are incredibly beatable, which teams are actually not incredibly beatable?
Maybe not Florida, but Duke when Kelly isn't on isn't that impressive of a team. I'd rather have Duke than Louisville as the #1 in my region. Miami, IU, OSU, Georgetown, Kansas, and maybe even UNLV scare me more than anyone in the East except for Florida.
Threads like this are so funny considering we've lost 3 in a row and got hammered by L'ville last year in the 2nd round which everyone thought was beatable and over rated. I'm pretty sure we thought that about UCLA 3 years ago too and Nevada and NC State and Weber State...
Great bracket but not going to happen. Having Kansas and OSU and Boise St. Won't happen. Although I would love to be in the West pod. There isn't a team in the west pod that scares me.
