Question for anyone in the know or that was at the alumni game last night. I want to capture as much as possible and would love to bring my big SLR and lenses.
No problem last night. The only thing they ever worry about is the case/bag, so leave those on the car.
I took a lot last night. Here is one I like.
Don't they sometimes say certain sized zoom lenses aren't allowed? I'm not talking anything huge, but I'd like to bring my fisheye and 300mm
So I just checked cable, game is not on TV right?
Edit: On ESPNU and I got it. Nice.

I think as long as its not huge, I don't think the people at the door would know the difference.
Edit: beat me to it.

Some places worry about the lens size. MSU is not one of them. I've never had a problem bringing my SLR and zoom lens into any Spartan sporting event, including last night at Jenison.
Holy shit! The guy from Dawson's Creek is standing over Coach D...
He got it! He really really got it!!
Brought a 70-200mm f/2.8 last night without a problem.
I brought a 100-300mm last night with no issue. I'm going to try with a 24-70mm 2.8 tonight. There might be more hassle tonight because of the concert though.
