Hard to argue...besides Appling who else in our backcourt has shown the ability to handle the ball safely with pressure on them. Not to mention we saw what happened last year against the press.
So do I.
I don't think we can take Louisville either. Therefore, I have St. Louis taking UL out for us and us beating STL to advance to Atlanta
LY wasn't that big of an issue, was it? 15 TO's sure.. but the piss poor shooting did us in more than TO's.. that and them hitting 40% from 3
Louisville vs. Michigan State boxscore from game played on March 22, 2012
I knew it was over when Dieng made a 3
Reverse psychology. When he told the team to have an "I'm just better than you mentality" in '10, the team lost to Butler in the semis. Plus, he gets seen as unbiased and will gain respect in the media community that way. It's a win-win for him. The dude bleeds green.
This is Draymond Green rockin our Real King tee at a speech given by Mateen Cleaves before the 2010 final four game. Check out this and other tees at www.flavoredtee.com
Dawson and Trice, maybe Valentine are huge X Factors
We don't lose to Louisville in Indianapolis. You guys suck at understanding this fact.
No, but we do have a Nix.
He's a senior and occasionally goes into total beast mode. If he does for the duration of the tourney, he could be the difference maker.
Nix isn't Draymond Green, for sure, but...maybe the tourney and being the senior will bring out the best in him. Let's hope.
Payne can make every shot Suton did in that game..
Box score attached.. MSU went 8/16 from 3.. and 46% from the floor..
Can happen.. but need to play exceptionally well..
NCAA Men's Basketball Box Score: Final statistics from the Michigan State Spartans vs. Louisville Cardinals game played on March 29, 2009
That game was a clinic. Used our spacing to get some good looks from 3. Made half of them.
Screw you guys! I have Michigan losing to Kansas in the S16

Member of the CSB in my opinion. He should call up Izzo and tell him that they'll lose to L'Ville -- tRCMB Justice League

nice easy bracket for Bo this year. this finally the year he gets to the FF?

Beats me. I hope so, but if guard play gets it done, I'm not sure we have the guys to get us there. I have us losing to Gonzaga. Assuming we get that far, they're the type of team that would give us fits. Disciplined, athletic, shooters. We do better against up tempo teams that don't like to play a half court offensive game. And who let themselves get broken down on D. Kinda like we do/have done against Michigan and Indiana.
Likewise though, and I hate to praise the Badgers, Wisconsin is the kind of team Gonzaga doesn't want to play as well.
Wisky isn't usually a great tourney team but looking at their bracket I think they are a sleeper to do well. That's my attempting to be unbiased opinion.
I think OSU has got that bracket though.
I agree re: OSU. I have them in the Championship game. They're a lot like MSU. Tough teams, comfortable in the half court if need be, can lock you up, and long and athletic. I'm not sure Gonzaga has played a team like OSU all year (and perhaps Wisconsin either).
How many players are still on their respective teams? Louisville is much different and so are we.

Damn we were raining jumpers that day....and all over the O glass. That team was good.
One Night! One team! Kill blue! Bleed Green!
I have your floppin honkeys going out in Round one.

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
Personally I have OSU vs Wiscy for a spot in the FF.
I have been saying all year, Duke with Kelly in the lineup is the best team in the country. Add a very hot Louisville team to the same bracket, and we have ourselves a bad draw.
Of course, we had a bad draw in 2009 and 2000 as well...
