I don't put sugar in my coffee, but this advice makes no sense.
Sugar doesn't dilute or mask flavors. Good coffee with sugar is still going to be good, just sweeter.
Can someone elaborate on French Press vs. AeroPress - I just recently started buying beans and grinding them myself. Looks like I can get an AeroPress for like 20 bucks. Why is French press so much better.
This is the same play they ran earlier, turn the corner and look. Nice back door. Cleaves the alley-oop. Ohh! What a setup off the timeout!
Sugar masks bitterness - which is part of the flavor.
But in general the better the coffee, the better the cup regardless of what you put in it. But if you are spending $20 a pound on Intelligensia Burundian beans why mask the stuff with sugar?
In the end I guess it depends how much and why you are putting it in there.

Similar but if I am not mistaken, an Aero press uses a filter. French press can also result in some grounds in your coffee if you rush. FP also takes marginally longer.

Counter Culture coffee is fantastic and you can order online. You can even sign up for monthly subscriptions for coffee or espresso at a discount. All bags are shipped at most one day after they pack it so you're always getting fresh beans.
I want to invest in a french press. Any reccomendations on brands/models?
