With the way U-M is playing, they have a really really great shot of beating Syracuse and getting to Monday night. I don't think they could beat Louisville but they could definitely knock off Duke (or Wichita State).
UM deserves what they have achieved. We need to work a lot harder to bump them from this perch next season. Hopefully they have a mass exodus to the NBA.
I agree, but it stings a bit to see them doing so much ... They could legitimately hang a national championship banner. We had two deep runs recently -- one ended with a loss to an all-time great team and the other ran out of gas after Kalin's injury. Shit we might still be playing this year if we had gotten a better draw.
This. It's painful to read and even more painful to type but they've been one of the best teams all year. Kudos to them for making the Final Four.
First legit final four since 1976. They deserve to celebrate.

Marv Albert obviously forgot about this when saying scUM just had the most wins in a season since the 92-93 season:
Season Coach Record as played Actual adjusted record Regular season Vacated Tournament Vacated
1992 Steve Fisher 25–9 24–9 1–0
1993 Fisher 31–5 0–4 26–0 5–1

Sounding like a freaking A&M Aggie. Terrible.

They'll outshoot the 2-3 zone too.
If we can trick Coach Krzyzewski into saying his own name backwards, perhaps he will be pushed back to the fifth dimension
I hope Cuse can hit the broad side of a barn.
It's not like they are playing great D and they are hitting their shots.
Congrats on their first Final Four since 1989!
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
First legit ff since 1976. Uncle Eddie has his hands all over 1989.
Michigan will eat Cuse's zone up alive.
I expect Mich Vs Lov in final.

I thought the same about IU. Whoops.
Congrats on your first legit ff since 1976.
Cuse's zone isn't like all other 2-3 zones. they'll adjust it based on matchups. Cuse will most likely take away the corner 3 that drilled Florida today and take their chances with McGary in the middle of the paint.
LOL nice contract 3______

Michigan does a good job negotiating coaching contracts: Brady Hoke has no BCS bonus, John Beilein has no Final Four bonus (just $25K/game)
Shouldn't you be mourning a Flair death or watching a cage match?
You know I'm right. Dealing with some in our fanbase is like dealing with Texas A&M fanbase, always worried about of what Texas thinks or does.
Good thing MSU fans aren't bitter over this.
Zero affiliation with U of M, right ?
Seriously, congrats. Had the right amount of luck, will to win, and match ups to get there.
Walverines from 2009.
most aren't.......one of the easiest paths to the final four I've ever seen so you havent' earned respect yet. 5 of our 6 we've earned under Izzo but we had an easy one as well at one time: then it came crashing down in the final four. Seriously doubt you beat SU and then duke or l-ville in a 3 day span....no effing way. If so, congrats is WELL earned.
.....but the fact is, up until now your 'team' has one quality win over a choking KU squad: that's it
true but make no mistake, scummers have Burke to dribble and penetrate that sucker then kick it out for open jumpers to Stauskas and/or Hardaway: those two are the key to the game IMO.....they will limit Burke and totally containg McGary with their incredible length and athletecism: If Stauskas and Hardaway can hit for about 15 each, they are in business. My guess is they can't: I look for 6ish from Nick and 12ish from Tim.
2001 was a nightmare.
