Costello has played very little but even in that context he has made quick progress.
ny, if you were a coach your team would lose most of its games.

It is ALWAYS a great day to be a Spartan!!!!
Did you see the 3 times he lost track of his man on defense and either gave up easy lay-ups, open jumpers, or offensive rebounds? Yeah, there's a reason he's not playing 30 minutes per game (and I'm not even talking about his recovery from his injury).
Listen, he's a gifted kid, but he's also a freshman and he makes some freshman mistakes while playing like he's still in high school (where he was bigger, stronger, and faster than everyone, which just isn't the case any more). He's going to be a great player for MSU and I like what I see in general, but it's going to take time.

And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
Costello should start over Dawson?
You have officially surpassed Opti levels of stupid.
Like to see more minutes...., but starting ? No.
Watch how he uses his body to create space, keeps a defender on his hip, looks like he is demanding the ball in the post. Wish other posts, while more athletically gifted, would do more of that.
...with 2:49 left in a game, when your team is up by 30 points.
Holy hell is OP an insufferable dick.
How did I never notice him before?

..NYSparty... yeah it all fits together.
Costello is nowhere near as good as Nix or Payne.
That's the point where I realized it's a schtick. Nobody could convince me otherwise

It isn't a schtick. His whole vibe, has been for years, is to give up on players if they aren't all-world by their sophomore season and play the newest freshman. In no way is it a schtick.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
I saw NySparty on the scout boards before I came over here. I do not doubt he is legit. Personally I don't have a huge issue with him at all. I was interested in the '14 recruits before Harris was signed and he was kind enough to share info on the class when most posters were not interested yet. I appreciate that and his attempts to contribute more than I do not like other posts he has made, but I am in the minority apparently.
