I guess we can argue semantics and what qualifies as "in the conversation," but I don't think Zeller is considered a serious contender for POTY any more.
FWIW, here's a straw poll of voters ESPN did that shows him 6th - with all of two first place votes. That's only two more votes than Russell Byrd received.
So I guess if you consider him still being even included on the list as being "in the conversation," that's fine - I just think it's obvious he's not a contender to win at this point.

when talking about assists and especially turnovers, that is not a negligible amount. BTW...it's 0.6 each. Those two right there more than make up for 4 more points at a 40% rate (which is lower than both team's average FG%). Craft's stats are just as good or not better than Appling, and I don't think there can be any debate Craft is the superior defender.
When Magic is even comparing him to MJ/D. Wade, you are having a very good season!
