Crude site, and their database is far from complete (first guy to type in "Oberon" please don't neg away), but funny, potentially useful concept if it was done well.
I like their Pale Dog so I will have to try it out.
Red Chair NWPA from Deschutes is soild. Just got a 6 pack on sale for 5.99.
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Their Alt is also very good if you like the style.
drinking a founders old curmudgeon. probably one of my favorite "readily available" beers of all time.
picked up 8 today so I had some in the cellar for the fall and winter months next year.
Here is my haul from this morning at my local market at 8:30 am. Any of you in the Chicago area - got these at Standard Market in Westmont. Not sure how much Parabola or Doom they have left, but go there and ask them for it - it was in the back cooler. One per person, so bring twife.
Left to Right:
Pipeworks Reliquary Bel/Am Double Pale; Spiteful Bitter Biker Double IPA, Doom, Parabolas, Doom, Spiteful Ghost Bike Pale.
Spiteful is a break off from Pipeworks so I thought I'd give it a try. I think its one of the Pipeworks guys and he is contract brewing from Pipeworks and another place.
I'm jealous. I've wanted try Parabola for a while. Doom is good stuff.
Parabola is fantastic, too bad they don't distribute to MI.
I just thought Doom was ok.
"Come and take them"
It looks like I missed the boat on the Doom in the DC area. I did get some Double Trouble, which I haven't had yet, so I'm looking forward to enjoying those.
Enjoying the season with a Hofbrau Maibock. Always a treat.
Bought a 750ml bottle of Unibroue's La Fin Du Monde. Very excited for this afternoon.
Double Trouble is better than Hopslam. There. I said it.
Since light travels faster than sound, people appear bright until you hear them speak.
dogfish head sixty-one tonight boys. IPA brewed with syrah grapes. should be interesting.
Very nice. Doesn't drink or taste like a 9% Trippel, very good.
I also have two Sierra Nevada Stouts left. A quiet night for me.
Had a Firestone Walker Wookey Jack and a Great Divide Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti tonight while watching the Wings. The beer was a lot better than the Wings defense.
Today I went to Jolly Pumpkin and Right Brain
Had my first two (2) bottles of Freedom of '78 from Short's yesterday, for this year - anyone else a fan of it??
yes! probably my favorite Shorts beer. the guava it's awesome
I agree, very unique taste...
Probably one of the best Tripels you'll get outside of Belgium.

What's everybody drinking for cinco de mayo? I just bought a sixes of Victoria. As a side note, at Central Market yesterday, I saw what looked to be Mexican craft beer. It was an ale, from a brewery in Cabo. I should have tried it. Next time.
Just poured myself a Rochester Mills Milkshake Stout.
That sounds intriguing. What kind of flavor a does it have?
Just finished an Innis & Gunn it's a Scottish Stout aged in Irish whiskey barrels, pretty smooth and tasty. Now working on a Left Hand Brewing Stranger Pale Ale, it's also pretty tasty. Tried a Sun Dog amber ale yesterday and wasn't too impressed, a little strong for my taste.
Drinking one of my Jolly Pumpkin Biere de Mars bottles (bottled 3/2012). Stuff just gets better and better.
