NOT a Dakich fan, but he absolutely tore it up last night and put Tirico in his place all game long. Some funny ass comments the entire game. Every time Tirico attempted to talk up scUM players Dakich cut him off and talked up how good MSU was playing and the history of MSU. If I did not know better I would have thought Dakich was an MSU alumni.
Agree, except his joke about the Bay City Rollers was sad.
He really nailed the in depth analysis on how MSU gets offensive rebounds.
Im pretty sure he was drunk.
Was hoping he was going to go with Grand Funk Railroad...
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
That 75% thing got really annoying. Whenever he thinks he has something insightful to say, he'll say it 48 million times. Not unlike my 4 year old cousin.
I may have to listen to his radio show today and get his real take & the take of Hoosier nation.
Tirico was a joke last night, slurping on scum nob every chance he could, making excuses for scums tough 4 game schedule... Hey Mike do some F'ing research and see that MSU has the toughest B1G schedule this year!!!!!
i only care about spartans --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqsAJQc-NCY
Please report back to us on what he said, Big Doug. TIA!
I finally let myself laugh and enjoy the game a bit when Tirico made some comment about "It's tough to come back from 18 in the Breslin Center" and we hit a 3 and Dakich mutters quietly "or 21..."
Not sure it was a joke...
The one props for Tirico (hard as it is) he had all the stats, names, etc on all of the walk ons.
It was a joke on somebody, because they sure were not from Bay City.
Being from Bay City and an alum years ago from BC Western (Costello's schooL) I know that. But, I'm not sure Dakich did. I hear that question all the time when I mention I'm from BC.
I will start by staying I cannot stand Dakich. I have never liked him but last night he was pretty good. If you take out the cheap shot at Dawson about being able to take a punch better, I think we witnessed the best possible game you will ever get from Dakich.
Usually he's all about the team we are playing but not last night!
Dackich is a terribel analyst, but a hillarous guy. He would be awesome to have a beer and watcha game with. I think he kind of knows this and doesn't take himself tooo seriously.
And yet, the guy who lives in AA doesn't know how to pronounce "Okemos"???
Kinda like Jim Rome lite.
Bay City Rollers Also known as The Rollers
Origin Edinburgh, Scotland
Genres Pop, rock, pop rock, bubblegum pop, glam rock
Years active 1966–1981
The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop band, whose popularity was highest in the 1970s. The British Hit Singles & Albums noted that they were "tartan teen sensations from Edinburgh", and were "the first of many acts heralded as the 'Biggest Group since The Beatles' and one of the most screamed-at teeny-bopper acts of the 1970s". For a relatively brief but fervent period (nicknamed "Rollermania"), they were worldwide teen idols.
HISTORY - Early days: formation-1973Bassist Alan Longmuir, his younger brother Derek Longmuir, a drummer, along with schoolfriend, lead singer Gordon "Nobby" Clark founded the group in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1966, as The Saxons. Soon after, they chose its more popular name by throwing a dart at a map of the United States, landing "near" Bay City, Michigan.
Look on the bright side. I didn't hear him mention a single thing about Brandon Wood's transfer in from Valpo.
and if Dakich said 1 insightful thing all night it will be more than Vitale's contributions next week.
I was just satisfied to not hear Magic's name in the same breath as Trey Burke's.
Out of curiosity, why do you dislike Tirico, arguably the best PBP guy out there, so much?
This was my favorite line of the night...
I thought it was funny - of course, I am a fan of corny jokes. And to those who think it wasn't a joke, I think you may be in the 10% on this one.
In depth? Seriously something you learn in 7th grade is in depth?
