You know games are closed caption, right?
What if you like hearing the crowd....
& its nice getting the Spartan "perspective" on the radio,,,its just very tough to listen to our guy.
I just remembered another Tirico moment that bothered me. It was very early in the game, when Dawson got the break away lay up (not the dunk, the one where Hardaway was pretending to defend him). Tirico says, "Dawson THROWS Hardaway out of the way and lays it in." (yes, he heavily emphasized "THROWS") He didn't go back to it, so maybe the producers whispered in his ear that he didn't touch him, but he made it sound like Dawson took his off hand and shoved Hardaway past him.
North Carolina, how many All Americans do you need? Get going!

On the subject of homerism, I always thought that Greg Kelser is very fair, but it's easier to think that when he's a Spartan. Anyone know what fans of other schools tend to think about him (rational fans, that is, excluding the Purdue, UM, and Wiscy idiots that think that Izzo is evil incarnate)?
Kelser is so close to the program and knows Izzo and the players so well on a personal level, that he'll always talk more about MSU. So that could come off as homerish, but he's pretty good when talking about other teams, as well.
Apparently 4 (current roster) isn't enough.
Stats are for losers.
He went on later to say Dawson "will get called for an off-arm push before the game is over"..kinda chickenshiat..
There is romance in all of us
Thought Dakich said that
That got an eyeroll out of me, too. I was thinking, "Dude, do you even watch Burke on any of his fallaway prayers?"
Agreed, Dakich was great.
I really don't get the knuckleheads in here who seem to despise him so much.
He's probably the best X's and O's colour guy on TV right now.
"No one cares what you know, until they know how much you care." Mark Dantonio
I really like Kelser as an analyst. Don't know why he isn't national. Maybe he doesn't want to be and stays with the B1G conference and Pistons.
Dude, if you ever crticize MSU or praise an opponent or u-m at any time; then all of your broadcast accolades to that point and ever after are null and void. Thought you knew the rules around here. Plus there's that permanent standing ESPN memo that states the anti-MSU bias.
Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance
Best comment: When talking about the VIP seats at the beginning of the second half because of a delay starting said half due to people still getting into their courtside seats, Dakich says " They are defnitely the vip seats. Do you see some of the rocks down here?"
Referring to the women's rings.
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
That's the trade off.
It was Dakich, but let the people continue to be irrational and find fake support for their grudges.
I guess the sarcasm should have been clearer. My bad.
I must have missed that. Perhaps I was in the poop room.
You mean Okey-mose?
Your a retard.
Not a Dackich fan, but that is awesome.
