yes he is: hope springs eternal. Who wins out between him and O'Connor? Because I've heard they are VERY high on O'Connor as well. In the old days, I'd call BS on that simply because we wouldn't want a logjam at the position and therefore they wouldn't have recruited Terry IF they thought O'Connor was the answer. However, I love what Coach D' is doing: gotta have depth, especially at that position.
Take a qb every year. That way when maxwell graduates and (hypothetically) cook transfers after being beat out by oconnor. You have more depth than a rs freshman in case of injury.
QFT....I'm going to go back and watch the tape on O'connor to see if it compares with Terry: I know O'Connor played in a pretty solid league in Ohio, so....should be interesting.
(yes I am damn bored: noon games suck right now)
wow, not much to choose from between the two: couple of studs IMO:

just playing a little devil's advocate, but aren't these the same coaches that were very high on our WRs this year?
East Lansing- A Drinking Town with a Football Problem
Damion Terry has attempted to advance the ball, either by pass or run, 278 times so far this season. He has gained 2755 total yards in those attempts. That works out to close to a first down (9.9 yards) every try!
Even more amazing, he is producing a touchdown on a whopping 16% of the attempts.
meh, that's fair I guess. We're starting to finally see that the WR's are pretty good: but when you have an Oline as bad as ours, it isn't easy to get open in 2-3 seconds. That's the usual amount of time the pocket collapses on Maxwell....I counted against SCum and WIsky: the kid doesn't typically have adequte amount of time to throw and/or have the WR's get into their routes. The short hitters we started to throw against WIsky at end of game HAVE to be the answer: slants, quick hot reads to WR's in flat, etc....only way to go. When they cheat up to stop it THEN go deep over the top, which is how the offense succeeded last year. (I"ve given up on the run blocking until next year: too banged up and disjointed up front)
Can't wait to watch Terry in the green and white. He's is gonna be awesome.
Freep needs an editor to clean that article up. Pathetic that they print that without fixing the errors.
Lots of twitter chatter about Terry last night...apparently he laid a crack back block that knocked some kid out. Hopefully it shows up on YouTube.
LOL, you are old, I was born in 1980!
eff YOU, I have a sweatshirt from 1980: granted, I was 10 yrs. old, but I still have it. MSU purchase I kept for my kids: now they're wearing it on gamedays only. Good luck charm that hasn't worked worth a shit this year

Got the 4 star bump. Rated a 90 by 247.
That's 3 of the 4 recruiting sites. I'd expect Rivals to give him a 4-star rating when they update their rankings (they do it after the HS seasons are over).
Delton Williams also got bumped from an 85 to an 87. He had a heck of a season.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Good to see, well deserved.
Just found this film from this season on Terry.
It is Prep (AAA) vs McDowell (AAAA). The throw that I like the most in this film is at about :30 seconds. He rolls out to his right and throws a bullet on the run. There is also alot of nice action from Delton Williams in the film.
Erie Cathedral Prep Sr. QB Damion Terry has Committed to Michigan State already. Terry is 6-4 210lb. QB that has Size, Quickness, Arm Strength, Good Foot W...
That center should be recruited to long snap.
looks like he could be good in a few years
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
Can't wait to bump thread often when he's our starting qb
gotta think he'll get a shot as a RS FR. Nice to have a QB with some speed
especially if Pat Shurmer is the OC. He has experience working with mobile quarterbacks.
...especially when Terry throws his first incomplete pass and we all yell "PUT HENDERSON IN!"
At the half Damion Terry is 12-18 for 261 yards and two TD's.
He's having an off night.
For him at least.
Marriage is like flying with kids, if the flight had 500 connections, never ended, Ted Striker were your pilot and you ate the fish.
4 TD passes now. Also, Delton Williams has 2 rushing TDs. Their team is up 47-0 in the 3rd.
