RCMB would have put in Vento long before Maxwell gets another shot..
Maybe we're reviving the Chicago Cubs "college of coaches" 8-man-by-committee managerial team.
Maybe he's interviewing Salem and Warner?
They'll each get their own QB to coordinate. Something like this:
Bollman -> Connor Cook
Warner -> Andrew Maxwell
And waiting in the wings if any or all of the above trip up:
Salem -> Damion Terry
"Look at this. An entire generation of Cinderellas, and there's no glass slipper coming." -- Mother in ALMOST FAMOUS
That is what Palasky said on Wednesday.
that's what people have been saying from the day this thing broke
cbd is yesterday's newspaper
We've got depth. We've got numbers.
Does that mean we're getting the poll function back!!!
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." - Mark Dantonio.
Could be 2 independent sources saying the same thing, or one repeating what he heard from another.
So who's going to coach the starter, O'Connor!
Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery, but Today is a gift and that is why its called the present.
I've been asking where Palasky is for two days now, heh. I've been wondering because he said two or three days ago the announcement would come yesterday. Since then he seems to have disappeared. He was either full of it or something is changing and he's MIA. For how confident he was about everything he at least deserves a chance to explain this and himself but he's nowhere to be found.
Sorry I was mia. I explained the situation earlier in this thread. I was keeping my comments in the VIP thread and didn't get any responses since the other day.
Gotcha. Thank you (even if you were the one who downvoted me, I guess). You seemed to have the heads up on this whole thing so I wasn't trying to troll you or cause any problems, I was genuinely seeking you out to see if you knew what was up.
Personally I think something is up here.. I wonder if Bollman had a buyout at Purdue or if there is a problem getting him to get to MSU. Given that every major media outlet has already had multiple articles up talking about it, MSU would have said something by now.. Even if he was just being added to the staff...
Haters gonna hate!
Yeah, but the Detroit papers get their stories here, they have no sources.
DetNews.com is a rag.
Can we trick Tedford into taking this gig?
I have a feeling that our OC will be a combination of Dantiono, Warner and Bollman.
I'm not running that down. Just saying that it will be interesting, if nothing else.
The most classic line in horror movie history.
I added a thirties orchestral recording of Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (as featured in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde) because I could litterally hear it when I first watched that scene.
If you can do a half-assed job of anything, you're a one-eyed man in a kingdom of the blind.
- Kurt Vonnegut
IMHO, it's kind of like QBs...if you've got more than one starter, you don't have any.
Guinness makes you drop mud.
some of the best offenses in the country are lead by dual coordinators...
That's because OSU fans are complete morons. Tresselball is impossible without a beast O line. OL do NOT get by on just talent. They need great coaching to be a great unit.
Stop getting trolled by the buckeye troglodytes. No one rational would contend Bollman is not good with the OL.
I hope we can enjoy an 11 year run like Tressel and Bollman did and see just how entitled our message board egos can become.
Oklahoma, Baylor, OK State, and Texas A&M have/had co-OCs.
A wild guess here. Coach D has discussed this quite a bit with Tressel, and he has a different opinion than OSU fans.
