Dantonio on 3rd qtr punt: "It’s fourth down on the 40-yard line and you’re getting booed for not going for it? I mean, get real.”
Rogue Leader= Obese coward who didn't attend MSU and has no college degree
get some real offensive play calling and people won't boo you. Why is it so obvious to everyone but Coach D?
he should know by now that the students are idiots
everything is a penalty and we should throw a hail mary every play
Get a real offensive play caller
A option with your back up at qb
Are you kidding me

He has done worse, like at nd last year when he called a time out to try a fake field goal. Even my grandma knew that a fake was coming.
Not sure that's "calling out", but he probably doesn't need to comment on that sort of thing at all.
Anyone. Anyplace. Anytime.
Yawn. The fans care more than the players.
punting was the right choice
"Put your mother in a straight-jacket you punk ass white boy." ~ Mike Tyson
If we had anything resembling a functional offense it would not be this clear cut.
Since light travels faster than sound, people appear bright until you hear them speak.
I may get flanked here, but I think the fans were right in this case. We were getting nothing going at all on offense and have been like that for a month now. The fans sat through an hour and a half of a game that we can say was exciting as watching paint dry. We have to get something going to get the spark on the offense. If it means going for a 4th down conversion that we should go for it. I also think we should pull a couple of fake FGs or punts so we can atleast get some excitement going on offense. The fans have every right to be upset. The offense hasn't gotten better at all this year.
The booing should be the least of his worries. I suspect he's as frustrated as we are.
no question with the weather and the struggles of both offenses.
This offense hasn't had a clue all year and you're not going to fire the idiot (your friend) who runs it? I mean, get real.

Mark, I love you, buddy, but you are focussing on the wrong things. Coming off the heels of losing a game at home, to a team that lost to CMU and Iowa state, having ended the first half on a play in which no player managed to line up behind center with 6 seconds left, with no timeouts left, in field goal range, in a game that was lost in OT..

Why do people keep saying MD is Roushar's friend?
I will say that I thought we should punt there. No reason to do something stupid in a close, low scoring game and give Iowa points. It would have been stupid to go for it.
That said...we might not have been in that position if everyone and their fucking brother didn't know exactly what plays we were running before we even lined up. Run up the middle, run up the middle, pass 4 yards short of the first down marker. Great fucking game plan. Maybe, and bear with me here, you should try and run a route that would allow the pass to be caught PAST the first down marker on 3rd and 5. I know that sounds crazy but it might just be worth a shot.
This isn't Cincy bro, we will boo your ass and your team. Back to back 11 win seasons didn't matter once that ball was kicked off against Boise State. Terrible product this season.
"You make sure when you come, you got a little blood in your eye, a little blood in your eye, a little fire in your belly. We there yet?"
Love Dantonio, and appreciate all he has done. But are you kidding me? Product sucks. Offense is high school level. You get real for a second and start seeing the reality of the situation. The fans are frustrated, they are allowed to be after ponying up the extra cash for seats this year. There are member(s) on this staff that need to go, plain and simple. Get real.
The only logical explanation as to why Roushar is still employed.
Also, if you are going to call out the fans, call out the ones that didn't even show up. Don't bitch about the diehard fans that sat in the cold, wind and rain to watch your team set football back 50 years as they butchered simple play after simple play.
I'm cold, wet, and pissed off...you're damn right I'm going to boo when you have coaches on the field dragging players off as people run around like they are playing a game of tag while the clock runs out. Make you mad? Good. Fix it.

Yeah, I like Coach just fine, but worry about your team and not the fans who basically sign your paycheck. I didn't boo then, but I booed my ass off when the team was too inept to spike the ball at a time that basically cost us a win.
I put a lot of time and money in to this program, and am still wet and cold... I think I have the right to boo when the product is damn near garbage (and that instance was garbage).
I didn't boo, but didn't like the punt. I stayed till the end of that god damned game so I get to call out coach d for putting out a garbage product on offense.
Or he could worry about coaching his fucking team and holding coaches accountable. The fact he is commenting on the fans after the abortion his team displayed makes me wonder wtf his priorities are this season.
The halftime fiasco was nothing. Still would have been at least a 53 yard field goal attempt. there were much much worse play calls in this game.
