Thank god Dantonio pushed for a big raise for Roushar this year.

Dantonio needs to take over the play calling again like he did last year. And then find someone else to run the offense for next year.
The answer is you absolutely do not make a change now. Wait until the end of the year and evaluate.
Petrino is available
That God we don't have nitwits like you calling the shots in the athletic dept.
Fonoti out. Treadwell and Jackson out for the 2nd half and in your simple world a patch work O-line that gets Bell less than 50 yards on 17 carries is the OC's fault.
Please tell me HOW, HOW it can possibly be WORSE than it is now. Other than some gut feeling about how making a change can't be a good thing.....it can't get worse.
Look everybody! A Roushar defender! Quick take a picture before he jumps off the Roushar bandwagon in a couple games
It goes beyond just the play on the field. It would be a bad move.
The bad move was replacing Treadwell with Roushar.
Shut the fuck up Scum Troll, have fun being 2-3 after next week while MSU is 4-2
Nobody on this staff knows offense. Cannot make a change now.
What specifically did you dislike about the offense today? We had another six fuckin' drops today, don't think that hurt at all? Half our offensive line out, no big deal.
I actually liked a lot of what we did on offense especially from Maxwell, but I guess a scapegoat is always necessary. Our receivers are starting to create a little more separation, talk to me at the end of the season.

I bet your favorite part was the 8 yards rushing in the second half.
THEN DON'T RUN THE FUCKING BALL STRAIGHT UP THE GUT IN CRUNCH TIME IF YOU HAVE A "PATCHWORK O-LINE"!!!!!
Remind yourself. Nobody built like you, you design yourself.
I bet your favorite part was that we lost the game and you got to come right on here right away and boast about how "right" you were. It must really suck to have to get happiness from our offense being average today against a very good defense.
I thought our play-calling was decent. You're such a pathetic loser its incredible bro. Pussy
Such a shame I'm out of downvotes between all the trolls and morons.
"When I was in school they told me practice makes perfect. Then they told me nobody's perfect. So I stopped practicing." --Steven Wright
Bad idea to come here after a loss. I'll be peacing out for a few days.
All I know is it is really sad to see pathetic dickless little pussies like Spartan80, SpartanMF etc out here as soon as we lose trying to talk about how much they know. We lost 16-17 to a damn good team, an elite defense. We're going to be 8-4 or 9-3 this year and that's alright. Truly incredible how pitiful some of this fanbase is.
Well, for starters, why didn't MSU get into solid FG position right before half? Its was pass pass pass and fail fail fail. A 44 yard attempt is not a chip shot for college kicker. If you have not noticed, Conroy has been struggling. Get into position to make a FG!!!
Second, How come we are not going to Dion Sims? Maybe OSU had his number all day, I don't know.
Third, on 2nd and short on two possessions, MSU went deep. MSU ended up punting on both occasions. Going deep is not a strength of MSU, and I thought MSU WRs did a good job today.
Fourth, Why the XFL formation 4 players in a diamond shape with 8 minutes to go on 3rd and 3? Why make it so fucking stupid and complex? Maxwell was sacked.
My problem with your take is that any time a player does not make a play its the players fault, and therefore an offensive coach can never take any blame. Hell why don't I just call the plays? As long as the players execute.
If you think I am being nitpicky, whatever, ever possession counts. How many points did UAB score against OSU??
This team struggles - REALLY STRUGGLES - to score TD's. Plain and simple. Against even an average defense, MSU cannot consistently move the ball down the field and put it in the end zone. The only points on the board come from a kicker that can make 45+ yard field goals.
How can you defend this? When MSU gets zero TD's versus UM - will you finally realize there's a problem? How about when MSU gets zero TD's versus Nebraska?
In the OSU game, MSU is damn lucky Mumphry broke 5 tackles to get into the end zone, because that was gonna be another field goal had he gone down on the 10 yard line - guaranteed.
They scored 15...
Ohio State scored 17 today, maybe they should can their o-coordinator too. I don't think Roushar had a great game today but I thought he did a decent job. Maxwell is steadily improving, not turning the ball over at all etc. We got manhandled up front all day, what did you expect him to do?
I counted another five drops by wideouts today. Three by Fowler and two by Lippett, all five were in my opinion good playcalls, good throws, and just plain dropped. Wideouts are improving a little bit, we're just going to have to grow with them.
Honestly though, I thought Roushar called a decent enough game for us to win. Our wide receivers have got to stop fucking dropping the ball. Plain and simple
What the fuck are you talking about? Are you watching Nebraska right now??
Ohio State is a damn good defense, our offense improved some today, they just need to execute better. Overall though, I think Maxwell is getting a LOT better right now, and this is four straight games without a pick now. There is stuff to build on, time to roll up the sleeves and beat Indiana's ass this week.
What did I dislike about MSU offense? Maybe running the damn ball every fuckin first down, when Ohio State clearly knew what the fuck MSU was going to do. Or how about on second and third and long still trying to run the ball in the fourth quarter. How about not letting our qb win this game when he was having a pretty good second half.
We all know it "Hey look two TE's and LT is coming in the game I bet we run" or "Hey its 3rd and 5 bet we got 5 wide and throw"
The dopes bitching about Roushar evidently think Narduzzi's celebrated defense allowing 385 yards wasn't important.
Its like nuns and priests trying to explain joys of heterosexual relations.
I am not bashing your optimism and one game at a time mentality, its just looks like this team is about 6-6 or 7-5. Keep in mind MSU lost the two games at home. Cal and UAB scored more against OSU than MSU did, and they played at OSU. There will alway be drops, so this offensive staff has to figure out how to get into the end zone. I don't think they are up to the task. UW has 3 TDs right now with a redshirt freshman QB. MD needs help on offense and he is not getting it.
and they only gave up 17 points and caused three T.O.'s one of which that should have been 6. They gave our offense plenty of opportunities.
