What's the deal? He's not looking good on the bench.
I think he just had his cage rattled a bit.
But I won't speculate anymore.

Hit in the mouth...hopefully not a concussion.
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
Not trying to badmouth Dawson, but it looked pretty minor. Any chance that he could have suffered a concussion from that?
He took a pretty good shot on the face. Looks to be dazed. Who knows what else?
This country was built by people who worked hard then went home and had just a few too many every night. Then went back to work.
From the looks of things Dawson did get bad mouthed.
Sure no reason why it couldn't happen.
It was weird. Looked like one of those painful hits you get to your mouth with your teeth hit your gums weird, but not something that would cause a concussion. Cross our fingers.
Please no concussion, pleeeeeeease!!!!
You are stupid. He couldn't walk straight.
This. Dawson was on the bench for like 5 minutes, then couldn't walk to the locker room under his own power.
Pretty sure he's not faking it.
Doesn't look good, but we'll see what they say in the coming days.
He got hit in the nose and looked daze. Could have also hit the back of his head when he fell down.
Hard to imagine it being serious but we'll see.
Tieman said that he left the bench because the noise bothered him.
Thank you, Denicos.
He did not hit the back of his head, good sign if there are any to take away

Don't think he hit his head. Just got hit in the mouth and chin.
Look like he came back on the court after the game when Izzo was being interviewed.
Unbelievable that we (might have) had two players concussed this season in plays that weren't called fouls. The odds of a player getting concussed on a play where no foul is called seems incredibly slim, let alone two.
That's not good... another concussion?
I understand. Like I said I wasn't trying to badmouth Dawson at all. The only thing I was saying is that the actual contact to the face looked relatively minor. He must have caught something fluky to the face. That is all. Don't understand the hate.
yeah, it very much could be a concussion but we'll see...really need him: even against Nebraska. Yeah, I said it:NEBRASKA won't be easy on the road: not because they're good but because we are sky HIGH and what goes up must come down....hopefully not too much. BYRD time vs UNL?
..........disregard everything I just said: gonna thorougly enjoy this win and the scummers butt hurt tomorrow.
Inadvertent elbow, nothing you can do man
A lot of fouls are inadvertent. Fouls are rarely intentional.
Don't know what to tell ya, it'd be near impossible to call a foul there, hope he is good to go vs Nebraska
Probably a minor concusion. I say minor because he never passed out, so I wouldn't assume that its to bad. Will probably sit against UNL and hopefully be back by IU.
