On ESPN Game Recap:
Izzo said Dawson got hit in the nose and had a cut on his lip. "I do think he's going to be OK," Izzo said.
Well, I trust in Izzo, so game on!
Bruised jejunum. Probable for Saturday.
Izzo is usually pessimistic about injuries too so this is very encouraging.
I was OK when I fell over backwards and banged my head on the wall while drunkenly trying to balance my chair on its two back legs at a party. But, I suspect I still had a concussion, as over and over I couldn't even remember what happened on the previous play at the football game against Minnesota, which was played in a strange glowing light a Spartan Stadium the next day. I always kept track of Lorenzo White's yardage totals during the game. I had a hell of a time that game!

Mr. Pickles gonna be ready to go Vlasic on the Huskers this weekend.
Dawson got hit in the face against Michigan, and Trice could miss his fourth straight game after getting hit in the head.
It would be great to have a nice lead in that game and let Denzel run the point, with Byrd playing a lot of two with Costello and Guana getting lots of minutes as well. I know, I know, pipe dream. One can only hope.
Its five o'clock somewhere.
Like most teams, Nebraska is much better at home than on the road. They got rolled by Indiana last night, but they've played Ohio State and Wisconsin tough at home and played MSU tough in East Lansing. I think the hope of a 25 point 2nd half lead is just a dream....granted, I would have said that against Michigan too
And if the good Lord’s willin’,
I’m a keep on chillin’,
refillin’ and flyin’ high
The @ Nebraska game is the definition of a "trap" game - coming off a huge home victory over UofM and IU at home looming next week. And I agree with everything you said about Neb's play at home. They gave us and Michigan close games on the road as well. I'm probably not the only one who thinks this game will be tough and likely a lot closer than MSU wants it to be. Coaching staff needs to have these guys mentally prepared for this one. The talent obviously favors MSU, but it's pesky teams like this that can come up and bite the better team if the focus isn't there.
^this if Msu can roll Nebby then we know they have turned the corner and the focus is on... Seeing Miami almost give it up to a garbage FSU team should serve notice
I was wondering what his dill was...
