At least Dawson and Payne weren't fighting over a fake GF?
too early to troll the ND board?
The f*^k is going on today...
Rosie Ruiz thinks this is a major fraud.
Time to make another Rudy and call it Teo?
How bizarre... assuming it's true that's about as pathetic as you can get: making up a story about someone's death for your own sympathy and gain. How ironic it's coming from holier than thou Notre Dame. Their coach made a decision that killed someone and their star player may have been lying to the entire world. BTW if this is true it doesn't speak much for the media that he can make up such a story and goes COMPLETELY unchecked for months.

Tough love is in effect here|We won't accept you as you are|Instead, we will show you a vision of what you could be and help you achieve it
Let me guess - he's going to deny it, deny it, and then eventually confess to the lie in an interview with Oprah.
I thought everyone had made up girlfriends?
The RCMB...is one of the most awful, alarming, inappropriate, disgusting, and offensive msg boards in the history of the internet.
My Whiskey Blog
I would say no, they are already getting delusion over there:
These people sure seem to think so:
35,600 posts and counting since 09-09-2002. tRCMB Dead Pool Commissioner.
In all honesty he may not have known. However all the added info of how they met and such makes it more fishy for his involvement.
Wednesday Funday commence
"If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Haha this is incredible. And of all the people to be at the center of the storm. Bwaaaaaa
After just skimming the Deadspin article, there was at least a half dozen factual inconsistencies between the "major media" accounts that were reported.
I know people talk about journalism being in decline, but how could not one single reporter, or one single editor actually demand a "fact check" on some of the larger pieces of the story? Everyone simply accepted Teo's Twitter as a verified source.
When I took Journalism 101 at MSU, we were told you need at least 2 independently verified sources.
Is Te'o an idiot, a liar, or both?
I'm sure if he ever made any statements about it they will come out. Right? Even if he wasn't involved in the actual set up of everything why didnt he ever set anyone straight?
Confusion galore :
Manti Te'o's Dead Girlfriend, The Most Heartbreaking And Inspirational Story Of The College Football Season, Is A Hoax Anyone?
Does anybody else think being a Mormon with a (fake) dead girlfriend would be a cover for a closeted gay? NTTATWWT
Both, plus if you look at who fed some of the stories to the media his dad played a big part in the hoax as well.
2010-2011: Te'o and Kekua are friends. "She was gifted in music, multi-lingual, had dreams grounded in reality and the talent to catch up to them" (South Bend Tribune). "They started out as just friends," Te'o's father, Brian, told the Tribune in October 2012. "Every once in a while, she would travel to Hawaii, and that happened to be the time Manti was home, so he would meet with her there."
Sept. 10, 2012: Kekua is released from the hospital; Manti's father, Brian, congratulates her "via telephone" (South Bend Tribune).

journalism is dead...social media is just playing with the corpse. I have no tweets to back that statement up.
Your average UofM fan and I have something in common, neither of us went to UofM. Though we do share One major difference, I got Accepted.
