He took a bunch of shots from Spartan players on twitter and didn't say shit. The kid comes out and (barely) leads his team to a victory over a bunch of ass hats from our team.
Congrats to Denard.
If you are going to talk trash like that, you have to back it up. Things I've seen this year.
Johnny Adams is better at talking shit than playing football.
William Gholston is kind of a fat kid now. He can't move laterally and his explosiveness is gone. He needs Jenny Craig.
Dantonio's fluff pieces all summer provided a huge let down for our fan base.
Our fan base kind of sucks. We chanted pussy at an injured player. That injured player then lead a game winning drive in our house.
The "competition" at WR wasn't because anyone could start, it was because nobody could start... except Burbridge.
The "competition" at OL wasn't because anyone could start, it was because nobody could start... ouch we suck.
Andrew Maxwell is basically Brian Hoyer with horse blinders on. It's as if he's being controlled by me on NCAAF after a night of drinking at 3am.
Speaking of drinking, I'm pretty sure Dan Conroy gets hammered drunk before each game. He's mentally weak.
Cousins made Roushar, not the other way around.
Feel free to add to the list of ridiculousness that is our football team. The sunshine blowers can blow me. We're a bad football team. Winners succeed in crucial moments. We have a great coach that calls some of the ballsiest plays in college football but he has failed to develope a QB and it's killed this season.
I thought you said you didn't care and were out enjoying life?
"RCMB: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainry." - some dude from MgoBlog
this will go well.
I don't understand the hate for Adams on here. Sure he went through a rough patch but when you're put on an island every down of every game you're gonna get beat every once in a while
Oh, definitely. These are just some observations I've made.
Kudos Harry. Well said.
Keeping the sunshiners in check since 2000.
I agree that Denard is classy.
Dominating Press Conferences Since 2007
I agree with everything you said.
Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered automatic weapons.
Just going to add that, last year, when asked about the supposed "dirty" way our players went after him, he replied, "They were playing football. Football is dirty." Or something like that. I always thought that was pretty cool.

The glaring truth is that MSU hasn't been able to handle success since Duffy Daugherty's hey day years. I remember after the 1978 season when we went 8-3 and tied for the B1G title but couldn't go to the Rose Bowl because we were still on probation. The fan base the next year was all energized because the team was talking shit about how good they were gonna be, blah, blah, blah. They started the year 3-0 with wins over Illinois, Oregon, and Miami (Ohio)...then promptly lost the next 5 games to ND, UM, Wisky, Purdue, and finally a 42-0 pummeling by tO$U just for good measure. They finished the year 5-6 overall and 3-5 in the B1G.
And who in Spartan Nation at the time could ever forget BW's 2002 meltdown season that cost him his job...and deservedly so. Pre-season B1G favorites, highly ranked, and dark horse NC contenders too. More talk from the players of how great it was going to be. Opened the season with a 56-7 ass kicking of EMU followed by a 27-10 win over Rice. Players and fans all pumped up now. Then the killer 46-22 bludgeoning at home by Cal followed by a 21-17 loss to ND. After a 39-24 rebound game against NU, they lost the next 5 to Iowa 44-16, Minny 28-7, Wisky 42-24, then the infamous 49-3 laydown to SCum. They beat Indiana the following week 56-21 before ending the season with a 45-42 home loss to Purdue and the other infamous laydown performance at PSU 61-7. (Larry Johnson of PSU rushed for like 200 + yards in the 1st half and Paterno actually took him out of the lineup at halftime.) A 4-8 season record, 2-6 in B1G with a 9th place finish. Do I even need to mention all the no shows in bowl games coached by the now legendary NC coach Nick $$$aban?
"I love March!" - Tom Izzo
So you don't care...only when you care. Got it.
Wait, so if I go hiking on the weekend and have a good time, I can't care about MSU football?
What the shit?
Also, I don't think I've ever said I don't care about MSU sports.
I think this is true, but also BS to an extent.
IMO what we're looking at this year is not an "inability to handle success". It's a flawed team. It would still be a flawed team had we not been so successful the last few years. Whether we had gone 0-12 or 14-0 last year, this team would still be flawed and would still be losing games.
There is a mental factor of being "able to handle success", but I just don't think it's applicable here. There are a few guys on this team who have proven themselves unable to handle individual success/accolades, but I don't think overall this team's problem is an inability to handle the success of teams past. It's from not being good enough at the present time.
Amazes me how Spartan fans throw our own under the bus like this.
Yeah, Denard may be classy but the kids you are ripping are Spartans and are also good kids.
Things are never as good as they seem and never as bad as they seem
Considering they didn't allow a TD to Mr. September Heisman/Dreadlock Jesus, I think they backed their trash talking up. It's not their fault our O couldn't score in a women's prison with a fist full of pardons.
I'm not saying I like the trash talk, but calling out our D because they gave up 12 points and then sucking Denard's dick for being "classy" is fucking retarded. Is he classy or just like almost every football player when interviewed?
I guess now we give bjs to michigan players just for acting like a regular player.
This board has gone to shit in less than 24 hours.
Let the down votes rain. I don't give a fuck and won't get on the "suck denard's nutsack" train like some of you tools.
There's a time and a place for everything and it's called college.
Hank gets it. You so-called Spartans are just little bitches.
Threads like this remind me of a chick who gets abused by her man but blames everything on herself and defends her man till the death. Sickening.
I'm just curious how you're arriving at all these conclusions if you claim you're not watching the games.
Of course you are. You're full of shit.
Denard could have went anywhere in America after rich rod. He stayed, he loves football and he doesn't talk trash. I wish he was our slot man this year. Also our punt and kick returner.
I'm talking about guys like J5 still talking shit after getting burned on plays or committing stupid penalties helping to sustain an opponent's drive. The guys who got on twitter during the ND game talking shit about Robinson sayin' he isn't a good QB (he isn't...but you don't go public with that when you play for MSU.) Yup...he sucks...but he got the last laugh on you on Saturday didn't he?
MD talked up the team all pre-season. How good the O-line would be...alll the quality depth he had on it. Best O-line he's had since he's been there. How good Max was going to be...Bell...Sims...etc. Yes we had big graduation losses of key playmakers, but hey we had all these other guys waiting in the wings just itching to show us fans how good they were going to be. A whole lotta talking the talk...but not a lotta walking the walk.
Our big talking, "balls of steel", riverboat gambler HC has been pretty pensive this season, not to mention a lot more conservative with his "go 4 it" decisions.
I'm not a big fan of George Perle$...but he did have one famous statement that I thought was very appropos for MSU football. "Work hard, keep your mouth shut, and good things will happen."
A little less talk and a little more action boys.
The reason he went to meeeeechigan is because he wanted to play qb and no other school(smart schools) would not let him play qb. Why would he leave to go play wr or pr/kr when he only wants to play qb? You're giving him credit for no reason.
The dick sucking continues for no reason.
He will have to switch if he wants to play in the NFL.
Oh yeah Denard is soooo classy. Especially trying to organize the no shaking hands with our team after last year's game. Yeah...he's a real class act alright.
What kind of Earl Grey tea do you nancies drink while you watch the games?
He might be a class act, but that doesn't change how I feel about the football team he plays for or the crowd of deadbeat juggalos that support him every week.
