Yeah, I'm still irate they passed on Aaron Curry.
The problem with Te'o is that I'm not sure his particular skill set will translate from college to the NFL. Milliner would definitely fill a need. Jarvis Jones would be a fairly safe pick but I have a feeling someone in the top 3 in the hopes that he's a Von Miller clone. I would have no problem with Werner, Joekel, or Moore.
Jarvis Jones has major health problems. He has some Spinal disease. HE also is a pure 3-4 guy. I pass on hm personally. .
Teo is not an answer.
As for OL, the team is looking at Jason Fox to step in, they are very comfortable with him.
Safety would be first to be followed by corner. From there, would love to get a big center, but you can usually find a good center in the 3rd round or later.
After that, maybe OLB. Again, it is going to depend more on who's available, as Det has a number of need positions. If they are up to pick, for example, and the available CB is better than the available safety, go CB. Of course, two of Det's rookie CBs played pretty darn well this year before injury....
It also depends on who Det re-signs. Especially along the DL. Williams is huge, but do they let him and Sammy Hill go now that Fairley has stepped up? And it appears just about every DE is done. Loved KVB's passion, but dude is done. Tons of big plays for other Os came because of his poor play.

I hope so. Think of it this way, there are no less than 5 players just from Alabama that would start for the Lions. They need to get as many of those guys as they can. No reason they can't trade down and get Milliner and Barrett Jones late 1st/early 2nd. You get the idea, it doesn't have to be those 2. A simple trade down 2-5 slots, pick up a 2nd this year, and a 3rd/4th this or next year should be easy. This defense sucks, the OL sucks. Even the DL is going to take a huge hit this offseason, so the defense could actually get worse. Lose Houston/Avril/Young, and depth at DT, this D could be all time bad.
Side note about Stafford. The complainers about him need to shut it. No other top level QB is being handicapped by his team/staff like this guy. Forget about guys like Brady/Manning/Rodgers. Compare him to Schaub, Ryan, Cutler, Roethlisberger, Flacco, and Rivers. The coaches and player around them are worlds better. Hell, the rookies (RG3, Luck, and Wilson) are in that boat too. How many of those guys have to take snaps from Raiola type players? How many of those guys have Backus protecting their backside? How many of those guys see Cherilous protecting the strong side, while getting 3 penalties in 1 quarter and STILL getting the start over a 1st round pick? How many of those players see their 2nd-4th WR and #1 TE go in IR/suspension? And how many of them can respond with a pretty damn good game against a team like Chicago, who was fighting for playoffs/division?
Best bulldozer in decades.
Gholston will be at MSU
What is that, a Titleist? A hole in one...
1. Adams CB
2. Bell RB
3. Sims TE
4. Gholston DE
5. M. White CB
My dream draft for Lions
Sadly Mitchell White in the 5th round actually wouldn't be the worst draft decision Mayhew has made.
Last time a Guard went top 5? not gonna happen.
Milliner or bust.
I am not sold on Teo as a future NFL all-pro.
sadly, WR is still a major need on this team
Is teo a MLB?

1. Teo will be an upgrade from Tulloch. Against the run and pass. I do like like the kid from Texas AM another option. Teo gets the nod for leadership skills.
2. Need another RB that can make big plays. UCLA RB Franklin
3. OT - no clue on who but somebody
4. Another Lineman just in case we got the other pick wrong.
5. Safety - to increase competition. I like Carey and sometimes Delmas but competition is needed at that spot. my gamble the Honey Badger.
If they follow these steps. We should go to the playoffs.
I have to ask why you feel this way. All boards have Teo in the top 7 and Milliner about top 15.
I know everyone wants to fix specific needs with picks but we have a lot of needs. Have to take the best player. Especially in the nfl with no guaranteed contracts. The draft is not like free agency where you can control the salary. Going to pay the same so you have to the best value. And PLEASE no one with red flags, please. Team would be much better if we had those five or so top three round picks that are not seeing the field for different reasons.
Linebackers who don't rush the passer typically don't go high in the draft.
I'll answer it for him, it's because he goes to Notre Dame. If he went to MSU, they'd be chomping at the bit to get him
Patrick Willis avg. less than 3 sacks a season. That's not a big negative for any MLB.
I think Te'o will be a solid pro but not worthy of a top 5 pick. Te'o has great instincts and has decent speed and lateral quickness. However, Te'o lacks the elite athleticism of a LB like Patrick Willis.
Has Jason Fox even played in an NFL game ? He's been in the league for 3 years and has always been injured. How the fuck are they going to count on him to make it through a 16 game season?
It's all about getting as much as they can for Suh before he demands an over $100 mil contract or walks. Dangle his name, see if you can garnish a 1st and a 3rd or an up and coming starter for this team.
The team will be better as a whole. I don't care if the people of Detroit love his attitude. He is going to cripple the future progress more than he will help it.
Some of my Spartan artwork and Keebdaddy!
I don't think you can get a 1rst rounder for Suh. I think 2nd and 3rd is most likley. If we can trade down somehow and pick up another 2nd we could have a helluva draft.
They signed Tulloch long term last year. he's not going anywhere.
Fixed the order of "shittyness" for you.
